Sometimes Football Can Be a Game of One Halve Only
Drama drama.

First off, the results for today:
Blackburn 1-1 West Ham
Fulham 2-0 Man Utd
Newcastle 1-3 Arsenal
Stoke 1-0 Middlesbrough
Portsmouth 2-1 Everton
Tottenham 1-0 Chelsea
West Brom 1-1 Bolton

Did ya notice that Arsenal's the only team to win away today? Fan-freakin-tastic.

We didn't completely have it easy though. Newcastle had a penalty early on and it was given, Almunia the perpetrator. And then Almunia the saviour. Frankly, I thought it was rather harsh. He was going for the ball to get it between his gloves and was a bit clumsy.

I had my brother's friend watching the game with me. He's an Arse fan. Just no cable at home and don't think he has been to the Liz before. Someday huh. Aha. But yeah, good companion. And I was telling him about that night in Rome where both keeper cmi. So I didn't expect Almunia to save it. And he did. Sometimes we just have to do away with expectations.

And you would have thought that the team would respond somewhat after being so close to being one goal down. Apparently not. By then I was wishing half time would come sooner so they'll have 15 minutes to have urgency.

And it didn't happen again. Like blast it. When they played like this before they either drew or lost.

And Arshavin who wants to be the greatest Arsenal player, was the one with the terrific delivery from a freekick on the lefthand side. It is almost exactly the same as the one Toure scored. So credit to Newcastle for replicating the terrible defending. What's awesome was Arshavin's delivery and Bendtner's leap. And header.

The thing about Nicklas Bendtner is that he needs confidence. With the goal to his name he started playing with fire in his belly, making more forward runs and having for to his game. Unfortunately though, I have to cover the part where the defence went to sleep and Martins was given the chance to level terms and redeem himself for the bad penalty. What a dramatic run to the technical area.

Too bad it was shortlived.

We got a freekick where it was blown for Diaby's foul on Steven Taylor, who has been rock solid all day with 2 crucial blocks from Van Persie's goal bound shots. And Diaby's foul put him out to the sidelines and Newcastle without him in the middle just crumbled. And who stood to benefit? Diaby himself.

So here's the funny part. Facebook has been pumping out veins with quizes. They all back. And the brother started complaining that he got Diaby after doing the quiz, answering every question as truthfully as possible. His friend says Diaby is a defensive midfielder. I said he's definitely not and there he went thundering through the middle with that ferocious shot into the back of the net. 2-1. The brother, on the back of the Man U defeat just looked stunned as we celebrated.

BAHAHA.

Not so bad being Diaby now?

Definitely need to find that quiz.

Samir Nasri knew just how bad it would be to carry on the game at 2-1 and wrapped things up 3-1 and Newcastle never looked like coming out of it.

I screamed into my brother's face that Nasri scores goals and Hleb doesn't. He thinks we made a mistake letting Hleb go. Oh please.

Nasri = goals.

I think Denilson and Diaby in central midfield is bad. Song pairs better with Denilson for reasons I don't know of or can't fathom. More understanding maybe. So I don't know how Diaby comes into the mix.

it's going to be international break! I've got next week to settle the last bits of renovations for my place and I'll be all set to move.

Then I realised that there isn't any need to set up cable since all we've got to do is bring the box over. lol.

Tomorrow's pool-villa game should be interesting. Pool wants to close the gap on United who managed 2 losses in a row and many many suspensions from these 2 games. Villa would want to keep up with us for a Champion's League spot. So.

We'll see who wants it more.

A little preview of my new room

I love my red. It's not exactly Arsenal red though.

talking millions
Prudent. So prudent.

SAF a.k.a Sir Alex Ferguson has kick started his mind games right after Benitez signed a new deal.

What has that got to do with us?

He sez Benitez will be going on a spending spree this summer.

*insert ahahaha.

Well..

Sometimes people talk too much but we can leave them be. The important point from that article is the net spending figures over the last 5 years. It made me laugh. This comes right after Sp*rs declared many happy returns from their own sales but nobody really gives a fuck about them.

So here it is:
Liverpool £82.5m
Man United £85.5m
Chelsea £154.8m
Arsenal £3.4m

I am amazed. We're in single digit figures. It's like eye-opening. And this is also one of the reasons why I support the Arsenal. Money isn't the key to everything. If you take the nearest figure then we would have done away with £79.1m less. That's a lot to be channeled into more meaningful areas like youth development etc. And this is also why we don't need a billionaire to fund our spending.

With the Draw against Villareal it means Pires will come back. Boy did I love him a lot. There was one thing I didn't really understand about Arsenal, like why most of the players in this era leave after they hit 30 or so. There isn't too much of seeing out their whole career here like how Giggs and Scholes are doing at United. Now I know why.

Wenger explains here:

"When you get to 33 or 34 I can still use players of that age here but when you look at our fixtures you have to get players at that age to come off the bench, come in, go out, and it is not easy. It's very difficult mentally, at 20 it is easy."

There's something Wenger pointed out which we will all agree with: Pires is still a quality player. It would be exciting for the fans to welcome him to the Emirates. Should be quite emotional for him too.

Newcastle tonight. Can't wait. It's going to be a short international break till April and I'll be using this time to move to my new place. I should go take a few photos of my sexy red wall. It's almost like I planned an Arsenal shrine in my room hahaha. Didn't start out on that intent but why not. We'll see.

I should post pictures, shouldn't I? Prolly on Facebook first.

April's going to fuckin insane!
I caught the draw on the tele and frankly, being amongst the first is quite nervy but when you get Villareal it should be considered fantastic, considering Liverpool drew Chelsea and Bayern got Barcelona. Hah.

Manu got it easy again with Porto who have the worst away form ever.

Alrighty then, with the draw over and done with, the fixtures for April is pretty much set.

And they look horrible but horrible is often in line with exciting. I'll go with exciting.

4 Sat Man City (H)
7 Tue Villareal (A)
11 Sat Wigan (A)
15 Wed Villareal (H)
18 Sat Chelsea (N)
21 Tue Pool (A)
26 Sat Boro (H)

And then the stupid dumbass brother complains ManUre have 5 matches in 15 days. Between 4th and 18th we have 5 in 14. In football everyone knows that it makes a difference. Sometimes I find these people super shallow when they don't know what's going on with the other clubs. He complains that United have the FA Cup, CL and EPL to play for. HA HA. The only team that doesn't have all 3 is Liverpool. You'll be a dumb dumb fuck if you considered Arsenal not to be playing for anything in the league. I need not explain more.

April is going to be nuts!

Bitter Bitter Hull
Geez. As if there isn't enough drama already on TV.

Hull City's staff have fantastic imagination. Either that or some part of the London sky decided to rain briefly on Brian Horton. I think Horton and this comes to mind:

I love this elephant and Jim Carey as the voice actor was like perfect. Loved the movie.

Then one Brian Horton comes and destroys all good memories.

Cesc has denied any amount of spit left his mouth and there is no doubt there. he video above is to show how far away he was from those shits who are firing all the accusations possible. What a load of retards. Like complete retards. They lost a game and compromised 99.9% of their intelligence hence certain hallucinations.

Horton must be high on drugs or the Emirates lights are too bright.

Brown is such a sore bitter loser and frankly, if he thought that by his anger and whinning his players will build on that and go from strength-to-strength in their final 9 games, I am just waiting to see how wrong he is.

Another manager who is very fuckin wrong is Mark Hughes.

After failing to land Kaka (bahaha) and whatever super star who wouldn't swap their team colours for the blue of city, he has now claimed that Arshavin is having trouble adapting, as with his on-loan to Everton striker Jo. Jo who was signed for close to 20m in the summer and had at least 6 months to adapt before making that switch to Everton because he simply cannot make it (cmi). If Hughes' aim was to be subtle, I think it didn't work. How does anyone fit Jo and Arshavin in one sentence when they never played each other?

Andrey on the other hand has fit in very very well and he has become pivotal to the Arsenal attack. He became that spark we needed and essentially has lifted the team to where we are now, in all of a month and a half. Another manager with no perspective and bad judgement.

If Robinho leaves in the summer there goes City and their big plans.

Maybe Arshavin can punish City when they come visit.

Time Wasting Tactics are Overrated
The job is done. The team will be heading to Wembley.

It wasn't as straight forward as Blackburn but yea, it still feels soooo damn good.

First things first, Hull goalkeeper Myhill. Time wasting tactics was his undoing. And twice in a row he decides to crash into his own player, only the first, Bendtner screwed up yet another shot. I hate time wasters. This shits can go to hell. And they always get bitten in the butt.

Bendtner. His persistence led to the equaliser. I think his physical presence up front really makes a difference in the league. He's getting better even though his shots are either blocked or well wide but he's trying. If he didn't come on I don't think we could have had this turnaround.

Eboue was hoping to snatch someone else's goal again when Bendtner had a shot saved by Myhill. He was all ready to stab in the rebound but didn't manage to. Hah. He came on for Walcott who was kept pretty quiet throughout.

Hull rode their luck for a while. They came to the Emirates with the belief that they could come away with a win the same way in September. Then their stroke of luck came soon enough courtesy of Johan Djourou. As a defender, if you plan on committing to the challenge, it's important to be 100% committed. Don't just stick out a stray leg which then gets punished with a deflection. In all honesty, I think Fabianski had it covered because it did look like a shot straight at the keeper. Nonetheless, that early goal gave Hull the cushion to start their negative tactics + time wasting.

Like that ever works. Did no one tell them that the Arsenal bombardment increases with time? Did no alarm bells ring when two fresh attackers took the pitch? Guess not. We were going for the win and that made the difference. Besides, Hull suffered tired legs. Can't ever play like that against a sublime Arsenal.

Not that we were fantastic. I could say we won ugly but who cares. Arshavin got another assist. He cooly laid the ball for Van Persie to smash home. Robin knew just where the goal was. Captain Robin 1 Hull 1.

The winning goal was kinda scrappy but I really can't tell if the ball came off Myhill's arm or Djourou's head. Whatever it is, good for Gallas to put the ball into the back of the net. Another crucial goal from him. He's been dry as of late.

That's it for now. I think Phil Brown is an idiot. At least in front of the camera when Hull 'scores' and he misses either the whistle or the flag. Ha ha ha. I bet he'll be whining after the match about being robbed yada yada whatever. After beating Arsenal there was talk about European qualification and I look at the table now and laugh my fuckin ass off.

P.S. Manucho look better the last game at Hull after he crashed into Djourou and got a larger face. I almost didn't recognise him today.

Time to sleep? It's 6a.m..

Arshavin's only up to Adebayor/Bendtner's armpits
Ahem. I just came across some jaw-dropping stuff.

Who'd expect the following:

That's our Russian compared to Adebayor and Bendtner. Andrey is 172cm. Now seriously. I can't imagine my 1.6m self next to Adebayor or Bendtner.

Our crafty players are midgets but that's fine, as long as they're crafty! Giant tall strikers are more predictable in their runs and easier to mark since they're not as quick. Adebayor's rather skilled but he has gotten lazy and his suffering from itchy feet hasn't got any better. Bentdner's work rate is up a lot and he is putting in decent performances albeit the misses. Still a player to watch for the future.

Whatever it is, however we finish, trophy or no trophy, I hope the squad stays together at least. New additions are welcomed but I want this entire squad fit for the next season. Wenger has worked too long with this bunch to let them move on to other clubs.

I'll welcome Flamini back too. Sp*rs and all their homecoming. Not a bad thing if it's Flam coming back.

FA Cup game tonight against Hull. It's at home. Hull have beaten us at home. They could count themselves very luck that time or we were just very poor. A bit of both. Anyhow, I expect us to take the game and meet Chelsea next at Wembley for the semi-finals. Arshavin is dying to play despite having 8 stitches to his foot thanks to some Blackburn foot slicing. I can't imagine a team who goes all out to injure, subtly and blatently. Sick bastards. Anyway if I had stitches I'll be moaning in bed. This is why I don't play football or anything close.

I think Van Persie should start, along with Vela, Gibbs and Fabianski. Maybe Gallas too in place of Toure. I wonder if Eboue will be given a place at right back in order to rest Sagna.

So YAAAY for football tonight. The squad does have the depth to cope with matches coming thick and fast. After Newcastle it'll be the international break and we'll have both Cesc and Adebayor back. Hopefully the competition for places will give Ade a challenge and heal his itchy feet since we're more than capable when the attitute of the whole team is right. We're not a team short on quality.

A little angsty fun
HAHAHA.

Well. The brother is still damn angsty from last night. Who can blame him you might think. He's in denial though. He didn't manage to watch his team get torn apart at home because he was working at the IT fair. He only got goal updates via sms. Hahaha. He doesn't intend to watch the highlights or read any of the reports. How's that for being in denial hahahahaha.

So I told him about Rooney and how he talks too much. Said he hates Pool but played like shit. And then he gets more angsty and then the subject is on talking too much. Hahaha. Apparently he thinks Wenger talks too much. Gosh. Does Arsene go out and say I hate so and so? Almost everything he says is to protect his players or to lift them. But ya. So angsty. So funny. So entertaining.

So I rubbed it in further with his claims that MU has terrific depth after I said Berba should have started and he countered it with the midweek Inter match. HAH. Plus Ronaldo was in several good positions for freekicks which he should have converted but didn't. According to the angsty one, Giggs is the only other free kick taker in MU. So much for depth.

He thinks Real and MU are the best teams in the world. That lame assumption is based on them having fantastic supporters. I suppose he only has numbers to count on. Now yanited fans are running and fuckin hiding. Hah. So he gets mad at me for calling his fans fair-weathers. bahahaha. Gosh. His generation of MU fans were supporting them when they came to glory. That's staking such a strong claim as a fan. So like I said, yanited only has the numbers. Not sure how many it reduced to last night though.

It is rather hateful to live under one roof with a Man Utd cunt because they are completely classless and brainless. The last person who should be making claims about Arsenal is someone who doesn't follow Arsenal news completely. His football knowledge is like limited to cunt-o-logy i.e. Man U crap so it doesn't give him sufficient leverage to even be in any position to comment about the Arsenal. You'll never win an argument against me really. Just try. I think living with this asshole srsly makes my arguing skills better.

Pool fans aren't any better though. They're all out to play when the Cat's away. I really hate their club ethos of "you'll never walk alone". I think it's rubbish. They either ripped off some part of Johnny Walker's keep walking or vice-versa. There isn't anything for the common good. I don't need to compare it to Arsenal's motto.

I changed the subject to Pederson's dive to take away his angst but it didn't work since he thought that I have poor judgement bahaha. Oh whatever. Rooney and Ronaldo are persistent dirty divers so what more can I say? We only have one Eboue and we all do not cordone diving. Do United fans care? If they get a free kick or a penalty out of it it'll still go easy on their conscience if they had one.

Back to something Arsenal or something which concerns us more.

Sp*rs are at Villa park and they're up for the game. I can't get over Villa being taken to Dubai for an R & R. Like Arsenal will never be able to do that in the middle of the season. But ha, so much for it and the publicity generated. For all of it, they conceded a Sp*rs goal like 4 minutes into the first game after such a luxurious rest.

HAHAHA.

I don't care about the result. Not about to sacrifice more sleep. Exams are coming man. I think I have time only for Arsenal games. I tried imagining Villa in the Champion's league though. It just didn't work. I couldn't see them advancing beyond the group stages or being part of the English contingent occupying half of the 8 quarter final spots. Just can't.

The Smiles Are Back
He knew that the first goal wasn't his. But the second sure was. And finally, we got a picture of his goal celebration - with the tongue. It was a sublime finish and the goal was all his. He managed to get past Danny Simpson and then beat Paul Robinson. Fantastic. We needed that second goal for stability and he delivered when most needed.

Walcott showed how much we missed him. Just a minute into the game and he was getting the better of Warnock and getting in behind the Blackburn defence. On a day where Liverpool scored 4 against Man Utd, we managed to score 4 too, and even if it's against Blackburn, I think we're all happy beyond words.

There are 2 players most under fire and they're Bendtner and Eboue. Bendtner manged to score against West Brom. Eboue sealed the win with our third goal. This time around, Bendtner had a whole host of chances to up his goal tally to at least match Adebayor's but he made the wrong choice time and time again. I suppose credit to him for getting into those positions. When you manage a win like this you'll forgive him for not scoring. Sadly. Then there's Eboue, who has been a total klutz all season long and he got a brace. Unbelievable. He probably showed Bendtner how to poke the ball in instead of missing by a yard. And for all the team's troubles in Rome the other night, he didn't get to take a penalty since he was subbed off. He showed that he could put one away any day this time.

Tonight's a night of many penalties. At least for the two games I watched. 2 for the MU-Pool game and one for us. I think Liverpool was riding high on confidence and didn't do a boro, like how they managed to lose after beating Real Madrid. I told my cousin that Pool will do the double over United and I stuck around for the game to see if I jinxed them and I didn't. Bwaha. Honestly, I couldn't care less who won but I hate the brother and how he thinks MU are the best team in the world. Hate his guts. And he hates Pool as much as Rooney, another player who shouldn't talk too much. He's in a horrible mood now and is hungry and has walloped the tuna bread meant for breakfast. Is very funneh coz he ripped off the plastic hahaha. Little did I realise how much I hate the devils and it's so damn good to be gloating now. They were truly embarrassed at Old Trafford.

I probably jinxed Van Der Sar ahaha. After the high scoring Roma penalties I was comparing goalies and how VDS was more solid at that. Then he failed to save one and went on to concede 3 more goals. I appreciate Almunia a whole lot more. And with my comparision of him and mad Jens, we sure hope he doesn't become mad Jens with his talking down to Diouf for that foul, which was highly remiscent of Taylor's foul on Dudu which broke his foot. The replays were shocking and I think we were worried. The good thing was that Almunia continued comfortably and went on to put in an assured performance in goal. Shit that Diouf. That foul may well have warranted a sending off.

A scoring Eboue is a big welcome. It could signify a new deal signed and him staying on which we all can't really tell if it's a good thing now. I suppose he's still learning and could improve further but I don't think we have a lot of patience with that. Walcott's back so he'll probably have more cameos then starts and if he could score some goals every now and then without much incident, we should be contented with that.

The team's gearing up for the season's climax and it's a good thing. By the end of the international break we'll have Fab back too. Adebayor as well but if he's going to be a lazy slowpoke I'd rather he just leave. And also stop with the flirting with clubs. I don't see how he can walk into Milan or Barca and become first choice. Titi's at Barca and him and Adebayor are world's apart.

We've temporarily leapfrogged Villa to 4th on goal difference with them facing Sp*rs at home. I'm thinking of Sp*rs will throw the game just to spite us lol. We'll see. Villa doesn't boast the best home record so fingers crossed they'll drop all 3 points.

Lastly, I think Denilson and Song are forming a good partnership. They exchanged passes pretty well for Denilson to get the ball to Arshavin for his goal.

And I really want to see the look on Arshavin's face when Eboue stole his goal ahahah. His back was to the camera! We did the job without Van Persie. Blackburn was hoping for some jetlag from Rome but they sure didn't have that with them. The players finally managed to build on European success and injected that into the league.

We can all be happy with our win. Pool did their double against United, and we did ours against Blackburn with both games ending 4-0.

That's 8 goals past Paul Robinson. :D

Converting Euphoria to League Success

After that freak penalty win, there are two conclusions from one players:
Almunia claims that night was worth 2 years of experience

Almunia is very very proud

Hah. If you read carefully you'll notice how his nerves were wrecked until one Max Tonetto blew it wide.

Now for UEFA being such a bitch. Like a really horrible disgusting whore. I don't know how many stabbings are needed to disqualify dangerous venues such as Rome from football finals. When Man Utd fans were caught in scuffles before it didn't hit home that much. But a gooner? Doesn't sit well with me at all. While Cristiano Ronaldo will play in Italy for the women, it is evident that the men can't control their stabbing tendencies.

Eduardo's out of tomorrow's game. His injury might just have hampered his penalty taking. The team still carried him on their shoulders and did their jobs excellently well. I hope all the euphoria (as illustrated in the picture) will not hamper them in the league like they've won something already. If anything, it should serve to remind them of the potential happiness which is possible next season again if they managed a 4th place finish. Although they don't need to think about Villa and Dubai. Sounds more like a publicity stunt. Or they want to attract a Man City Sheikh. Man City who wants David Villa. I'm sure Cesc will advice him otherwise.

We'll have Walcott for tomorrow and a fresh Arshavin! Aren't we all glad to have him even if it's just for the league?

Looking forward to the game.

Arsenal through to the quarter finals by the skin of their teeth
It's 6.40am and I may well just start preparing for work, as with those who caught the game.

First thing's first, we always knew that those missed chances in the first leg would come back to haunt us. On the 9th minute, it did, thanks to some slack defending. What a way to concede.

Wenger said before the game that Arsenal will attack. Uh-huh I say. I can't recall any clear cut chances. There weren't even missed chances seriously. It was like he fielded the exact team which loved the 4 goalless draws in a row to get a draw in Rome. Well, a draw would have sent us through without all the hassle of extra time + penalties but SRSLY, gosh. If we thought the team would be more purposeful playing in Europe I guess we've all just been proven wrong.

Eboue for all his troubles and attempts at redemption, was silent throughout. Either he was intimidated by the size of Roma or he didn't want to get involved in any incidents which might just send his crowd meter back to -832740738490. Maybe I should be thankful that for a lack of incidents rather than something similar to Sp*rs.

I suppose after some thought I can understand why Wenger played Robin and Nicky. Roma are huge. But the midgets of Arsenal who are full of craft can wrongfoot a giant and cause all sorts of problems. Vela could be one of them after his fantastic performance midweek. But sometimes, all these don't really matter since we're through anyway, right?

It's just those nerve wrecking moments we all had to go through. And how we knew very well that had chances in the first leg not been missed, we wouldn't be put into such a situation. It's like painful.

Then there's Totti. I used to love him, dating back to World Cup days. Now he's an absolute twat. Ass. He owned Denilson through dirty means. 180+30 minutes of dirtiness. I believe him, as the bloody captain, would take on the responsibility of carrying the team on his shoulders etc etc etc. But he's such a cunt. If I never have to watch him play again my world would be merrier.

It's a good thing we're through. And the team can watch Manuel Almunia's time in goal during the shootout and be more motivated to win the damn game in normal time. He is absolutely attrocious. The only consolation is that Doni is too. ManUre have Edwin Van der Sar who owns penaties. He has won trophies on penalties. When was the last fucking time anyone ever had a 7-6 shootout? It's times like these you know you miss Mad Jens. Before the dude even steps up to take the kick he puts them off in every way possible e.g. dispute that ball not on the spot, shouting at the player, shouting at own player etc etc etc. And I guess that works. Except that I think Almunia tried to put of one Julio Baptista and it didn't work. Fancy facing 2 different beasts in consecutive games. (Burnley's keeper is also nicknamed the beast) Also, he totally screwed up that chance which would most certainly put Roma through. Like when Eboue comes on during a nil-nil to try and change the game to a win, I know with my entire being that it's a freakin lost cause. When Baptista came on I knew we would win somehow.

But of course, we didn't in normal time plus extra time. So I guess he his made it remain status quo the same way Eboue does. They're in the same league.

Dudu didn't take his penalty as well and it's not something we expected from him since he totally has the calmness to stay cool. But it's ok, the rest of the lads showed composure and converted it all till one of Roma's lost it. Comments on BBC thinks Max Tonetto could be the name of the next super ice cream. Is conetto Italian? I only know they're all made in Malaysia.

Attention shifts to the league now. Martin O'Neil took this opportunity to bring his Villa team for a R & R plus training in Dubai. So now they're heated up by the sun for the season's run-in. I suppose he didn't learn from Moscow where they threw the game in favour of the league and then managed to throw away a 2-0 lead in the last 4 minutes and then getting owned by Man City. Look at Arsenal when players are rested. Nasri was bollocks. Denilson as usual. Van Persie just wasn't creating. Bendtner was back to normal. Normal being bad.

So. resting players can be a bad horrible thing. I hope it's a bad horrible thing for Villa. Blackburn beat Fulham and we face them next. Fulham like owned us in the nil-nil game and then they got creamed by fucking Man Utd in the FA Cup and now Blackburn too. People up their game against Arsenal but Arsenal do not always up their game at all.

Arsenal is supposed to be exciting and the players knew what to do on the counter attacks. The final balls into the final third were supposed to be quality. Now it's all rubbish and I only have one word: lacklustre. I guess Arshavin does bring a different dimension to the team but he's freakin cup-tied. Without him the team went back to normal i.e. cannot score, except that this time the defence went back to being sloppy.

Goodness gracious.

I thought the learning curve could apply. It's upward sloping LAH. When will the fans stop being disappointed? I suppose for now most of us are just thankful to be through. Whatever lies ahead doesn't sound like great fun though. The funny thing is, there isn't any Italian team in the last 8 and 50% of the teams are English. Septic Blatter will have much to say.

P.S. I wish all travelling fans safety from vicious Roma fans.

Betrayal might just be second nature to some people
I realised how much human relationships mean to me.

Even though whatever's on my plate is like bad, bad and bad.

Anyway. With Roma coming up, the list of travellers are up.

Up in the attacking department there is a wealth 0f dudes available. How often do we get such a luxury? It's like fan-freakin-tastic and the list doesn't include one Emmanuel Adebayor who is such a shithead. May he leave in the summer and never be heard of again. Asshole. I really hate traitors.

There's another Newcastle dude following in the footsteps of N'Zogbia. I don't think we need another s-o-n-g in the team. Bassong should just fuck the hell off. It's rotten to use the name of Arsenal to engineer a move elsewhere, the same way Adebayor is doing with Milan and Barca. Srsly. I think they have better players than him. And I hate Milan for taking Flam away. I hate Flam for walking away. And who chooses '86' for a shirt number? Not like it's rugby or something.

Should be a fantastic game tomorrow night. And we should all hope there aren't any violent clashes since Roma fans are vicious.

Lastly, C. Ronaldo sez he's losing his head. I think that's because his head is at the Bernabeu.

Arsenal with the vast superiority of class over Burnley 3 goals over
On a night when...

EBOUE SCORES.
Song was on song.
Vela and Eduardo did the cheeky cheeky.
Arshavin got another 90 minutes and another assist.

...and many other things.

It's just happy happy happy. With Walcott and Eduardo featuring, the two dudes out injured. When players come back from injury it's a cause for celebration. And dudu is just fantastic. He is such a natural finisher. I love his left foot.

Before the game Mr Owen Coyle and co. were talking up their own team's ability to whack Arsenal since they did it earlier in the Carling Cup. Somehow, when the game is at the Emirates, they probably lost their chance to get anything but creamed.

Song was outstanding. He went forward and was whipping in cross after cross and he got 2 assists. This fellow needs to start being consistent because he's capable. On days when he shakes off the attitude he's fantastic. He needs to keep it up. And it was nice to not see Denilson anywhere even though he has been a hardworking servant all this while. His sideways passing really pisses the hell out of me.

I think there isn't much to say other than to enjoy the win and hopefully take the game to Roma. Cicinho will miss the clash, so will De Rossi, with the latter due to suspension. They are a quality side but I'm sure us at our best can beat anybody.

Eboue has taken another step towards redemption so he should try no to blow it or try anything funny.

Lastly, Drogba scares me.

Arsenal 3 West Brom 1 and we say thank you for the goals
FINALLY.

In my cranky mood I am happy. Cranky from no sleep.

BUT FINALLY.

A match worth not sleeping for.

We shall all ignore the fact that West Brom is highly poor and is on the way to relegation.

BUT YES.

Nicky was fantastic tonight. Unlucky not to have gotten more than a brace.

AS ALWAYS,

Eboue and Song were assholes. Nice gap they left for the ball to squirm through. The free kick taker really knew where the hell to pick his spot.

A bad moment from Ramsey where he passed the ball to Almunia with Sagna in the way. Made Mr Wenger scream. His guilty look is kinda cute though. But poor guy. Had it resulted in a goal or Almunia getting an injury because some dumb striker went for the ball and crashed into Almunia, I think I might hang him out to dry with E and S.

I really can't remember any names from West Brom. They're really that bad. Not worth remembering.

So.

Now I face my day with an Arsenal win and then um. Die later. Die a horrible terrible sleepless death.

The lengths I go to watch them - WIN PLEASE
Madness: not sleeping the entire night because of a match

1) came home from work after midnight
2) had stuff to clear/things to plan
3) it's an hour before kickoff i.e. 2.45am
4) have a meeting at 8.30am - required to start preparing at 6.30am (match ends at 5.45am)

People say they sleep 4 hours a night and survive good.

I'm a pig. I need my 8 hours otherwise I get unbearable headaches and I basically can't think straight.

So if I did 4-hour nights I'll need to repay back otherwise I'll go mad.

Now I wonder where it leaves me if I don't sleep at all.

And my day is till 10pm tomorrow.

I offer myself redbull as a sacrifice.

MY POINT IS: THEY BETTER FUCKING WIN THE GAME OTHERWISE.

I'll be cranky the entire of tomorrow till forever more.

Injuries are part and parcel of football
There's a game tonight and if I don't see improvements I think we're all going to hit the roof again.

So Benitez is whining about the injuries to Fernando Torres citing it as the main reason why they're behind Man Utd.

Gosh.

Which team doesn't have injuries? And which team doesn't have injuries to their key players at some point?

If he wants to whine about injuries then I think we have more of a right to.

For us though, I hope when the players start coming back the team will get better and better.

It's nice and raining now. It'll be fan-freakin-tastic to be able to go back to bed now but I can't. Sad right.

Come on you reds tonight.

Sp*rs left it to Arsenal leftovers to defend their Cup
HAHAHA.

I might be a goalless jinx. Except that I watched the Roma game. Anyway, MU and Sp*rs were goalless all the way till extra time was over and their game went down to penalties.

Then Jamie O'hara steps up for the Sp*rs penalty and I was laughing. And he missed and I was in tears.

Laughing tears.

Then Bentley takes the third penalty for Sp*rs and he misses.

Mayhem tears.

Harry Rednapp must be a real Arsenal fanboy. He sent two ex-Arses to do the penalties and they screwed it up and lost their only chance at a trophy. It's really funny.

Before that penalty shoot-out I checked the Villa score. At half time it was 1-0 to Villa. Full time and it's 2-2 with Stoke snatching a point at the death.

I don't suppose I could put it in a way where it could sound nice but, we're not the only team dropping points. The race for it is still open. The team just has to push for it. Counting on a Villa slip shouldn't be a bad bet but the team needs to jeopardise on it.

And ha ha ha. Them sacrificing the UEFA cup for the Stoke game didn't pay off did it?

It just wasn't going to happen

This Arsenal team likes making history.

Not the history where you win bloody trophies but getting 4 goalless draws in a row.

If I saw another zero somewhere I think I might hit the roof. On second thought though, I feel so numb already.

This time though, the manager cannot criticise Fulham for playing negative football.

And I think I'm done with whatever analysis there should be because there is none. It's like like . . . no commento.

The funny thing is, in my post before the game I said Liverpool screws up a lot. And they did. Lost 2-0 at the Riverside. If only all the things I said came true. With Liverpool though, they just beat Real Madrid but they lost to Boro. Sounds a bit like us. The old us.

The new us can't score even if their lives depended on it. Next up is West Brom.

Ah whatever.
