Have you ever woken up and felt like dying?
I think most of us just want to go back to sleep perhaps, to completely have nothing better to do than to r & r.
Except that this morning I woke up wanting to die.
I completed season 2 of Private Practice and the season finale, as is turns out, is a massive cliffhanger, which basically leaves people guessing and speculating for 5 months till season 3 starts. Am I dead of dead?
Then Grey's anatomy is 2 episodes away from their season finale. The tricky part is, I can't wait for the next episode which airs 7th May. However, I have 2 papers, 7, 8, and then 12, 15 with the season finale on the 14th. Final paper which is the heaviest in terms of content, on the 21st.
Dead it is.
Besides the doom and gloom of exams and my favourite TV shows abandoning me at the same time, we get news that dudu's season is over.
Thanks to Rio Ferdinand. We all would love to point freakin fingers at that cunt who'll make it back for the Arsenal game (as expected) but dudu won't. It could be said as an accident waiting to happen etc etc. but Ferdinand is an asshole so no logic shall be applied.
Dudu wasn't injury prone when he first arrived. He was slowly being introduced to the English game by the boss. Just when he hits his groove, Martin Taylor decides to go 2 footed, studs out, into his left ankle. And now Eduardo's going to be in and out of injury. It's as though he had just completed his rite of passage into the Arsenal team. Congratulations on being injury prone?
It's times like there you know you have to forgive whatever shit caused the shit to happen but it's difficult to just let it go. Not my place either, Martin Taylor didn't break my ankle. I would have set his house of fire if he did so obviously dudu's the gentleman who doesn't have fiery thoughts. Let's hope dudu has a good shrink too, because psychological battles are just as hard.
Ahem. Like Tomas. From his episodes, I have concluded that he isn't very strong mentally. It's hard to blame him with all the setbacks he faced when he thought he was coming back. These things aren't good on the brains. It's stress and with the thought of your career being over at the back of your head if it doesn't work out doesn't help.
At least he's back in light training and we hope to see him next season. Dudu too.
After Almunia's performance against Man Utd, the Almunia for England shit is starting again.
Seriously.
It's getting very old and I don't see why the boss would want that. He's our dude, and should play for Spain simply because he's Spanish. If he can't, it's bloody freakin okay. Do not need to add pressure plus expose himself to more chances of getting injured.
And because English fans (fans of England) are assholes.
We have Singapore and Chinese Nationals(China people) representing us in table tennis but half the population don't really care if they win or lose. We don't want to stick anything up their whatever. There is no blame.
Ok Portsmouth tonight. I don't know what line-up to expect but I'm craving Vela. Please Arsene.Labels: Almunia, Eduardo, one of my many theories

New banner/layout/whatever you call it. Not exactly a layout change. Updated picture?
It's dudu! I wanted to but Arshavin in too but that'll be a little too much. Eduardo can hold his own. :D
Anyway that's not what I'm here for.
ASTON VILLA 3 EVERTON 3
HAHAHAHA.
What a laugh. This weekend of football has left me in stitches. First Silvestre scores and puts us ahead. Then Jason Koumas lays a perfectly weighted pass for Arshavin to ram home. And father of 2, Alex Song scores. I hope this father of 2 thing won't get old. It funny.
And I read about Villa and Everton who talk up their ability to snatch 4th spot from Arsenal. Considering the way Everton played last week with that 4-0 trashing of Wigan, you'd expect them to have the momentum to take 3 points off Villa and be 7 points behind Arsenal in 5th spot. The did start better, with 2 early goals and 2-goal leads twice in the match which they conveniently threw away. I said Villa is losing much steam and good performances not followed by results can be a problem and it showed early on. They however, found that extra drive to peg Everton back almost immediately and Howard Webb on their side.
The Howard Webb who yellow carded Messi for a dive in a blatent penalty claim and sent Pep Guardiola to the stands. I don't suppose awarding Villa a crucial penalty which would put them on level terms any kind of redemption considering that it wasn't a penalty at all?
And he is England's best, globetrotting and receiving hate mail by the tons.
So I wanted Villa and Everton to draw and I got the result I wanted. They both lose 2 points, and are 8 and 9 points behind Arsenal respectively. That is a good buffer to take into the games with Liverpool, Chelsea and United in the league. Sometimes in football it can be worrying when one team is playing to keep 4th and another is playing for the title. In all logic, the one going for the title is going to have something extra to take the game. It is just the mentality of the situation presented. In any case, thank you Howard Webb for the penalty hahahaha. I think Martin O'Neill will be thanking him too while Moyes, Ferguson's preferred successor, should be red-faced in anger. He was screaming really hard on the sidelines. Expect a fine. Who can blame him anyway.
Since I've been magical as of late in my wishing which led to all the immense gloating and I'm not jinxing the team, I should just lay out my declarations and may it all come to past:
ARSENAL TO WIN THE CHAMPION'S LEAGUE THANK YOU
..AND THE FA CUP TOO
and completely believe in it so that the laws of attraction shall take effect.

On a night when...
EBOUE SCORES.
Song was on song.
Vela and Eduardo did the cheeky cheeky.
Arshavin got another 90 minutes and another assist.
...and many other things.
It's just happy happy happy. With Walcott and Eduardo featuring, the two dudes out injured. When players come back from injury it's a cause for celebration. And dudu is just fantastic. He is such a natural finisher. I love his left foot.
Before the game Mr Owen Coyle and co. were talking up their own team's ability to whack Arsenal since they did it earlier in the Carling Cup. Somehow, when the game is at the Emirates, they probably lost their chance to get anything but creamed.
Song was outstanding. He went forward and was whipping in cross after cross and he got 2 assists. This fellow needs to start being consistent because he's capable. On days when he shakes off the attitude he's fantastic. He needs to keep it up. And it was nice to not see Denilson anywhere even though he has been a hardworking servant all this while. His sideways passing really pisses the hell out of me.
I think there isn't much to say other than to enjoy the win and hopefully take the game to Roma. Cicinho will miss the clash, so will De Rossi, with the latter due to suspension. They are a quality side but I'm sure us at our best can beat anybody.
Eboue has taken another step towards redemption so he should try no to blow it or try anything funny.
Lastly, Drogba scares me.Labels: Eboue, Eduardo, FA Cup, Roma

I marched to my TV at 3.41am and I turned it on and saw Eduardo coming out of the tunnel.
Indescribable.
And it took just over 20 minutes to open his account for the season. But it took all of a few seconds to make his presence felt.
You need to be an Arse fan to understand how it feels like when Wenger said (before Arshavin came) that Eduardo, Cesc and Theo will be like new signings. Now we know why he said that. Eduardo practically revived everyone's spirts. How often do you see Toure going all the way forward and getting a shot of target and then Gallas marking his man all the way to the opponent's goal?
It's like we could do without Arshavin.
Doesn't it finally feel like our season is finally starting?
We're also not going to miss Adebayor one bit.
So full time and Arsenal won 4-0. I can't recall the last time we won 4-0. RVP wrapped up the game while dudu got a brace on his comeback.
As it stands, it's
Arsenal or Burnley v Sheffield United or Hull City
It's nice to be playing both at home, and it's sort of like a chance for revenge. First to Burnley, and then to Hull if they manage to beat Sheffield United.
What a fantastic day at the office.Labels: Cardiff, Eduardo, FA Cup
