Arsha could have made a difference with an old head
I was saving this till perhaps the 29th of May when Arshavin turns 28 and I turn 22 but I guess I need to do it now because I'm in dire need of cheering up and I have to do it myself.

The reasons are simple - I haven't let anyone into my life and I intend to stay that way. Besides, being independent has its perks. I have thus developed a dislike for smsing which has pissed a few people off when I ignore my phone to do my own things at my own convenience. Yeah I joined the irritating bunch everyone hates. But sometimes it's because I'm in the shower. Ahaha. What are the odds.

So. I don't have a pic of Arsha in the stands last night but the camera did show for like 1 second. He was sitting next to Eduardo with his hoodie all up. He looka-lika snowman.

Must be painful for him to sit out those games. Must be really painful for us when he has to sit out those games. He is now officially one of the older heads around and attitude wise, he's been perfect. The way he blends into the team is fantastic and everyone loves him. Must make the rest disappointed to not have him in the team as well.

I don't know if there exists an Arshavin effect on the team where when he doesn't play, the team looks out of sorts. If I had to pin point one thing which went wrong last night, it was the formation. We beg and wail for a 4-4-2 which provides more defensive cover as with attacking threat. We depend deeply on our wide players and what better than a 4-4-2 rather than forcing the ball through the middle and failing terribly. So the lost game aside, I don't know if the team reacts differently when their star player isn't playing. It's like there is this dependence on him even when he's not there.

To me, Arshavin is kinda like a dream. He came, as a superstar signing where the negative asses of the world expected him to lose his mojo after his move to Arsenal. He is so good Liverpool fans hate him. Hah. It's funny. Kinda like C. Ronaldo, except that Ronaldo's easier to hate and he has the face of a jerk and basically free falls into every challenge like he doesn't possess something called a centre of gravity. So perhaps, Arsha's only hated by stinkin pool fans after his 4 goal haul against them.

Why he is like a dream is because to me, he feels like a player who came here on borrowed time, i.e., on loan. That would explain why he's cup-tied for the Champion's League just like Jo is cup-tied for the FA Cup. The only difference is, Arsha's not on borrowed time. He isn't a loanee. He belongs to Arsenal.

Come next season he will feature in all competitions. I thought about this semi-final before and everyone's gutted that he can't play. I thought about Arsenal winning the Champion's League without him. It didn't feel good and if that gotten the better of me and influenced the result somehow by the cosmic waves I sent out to the world, then srsly, screw me. The lads, with their young heads and all, made it to Europe's top 4. Who would want them not to go all the way?

So there's always next season to look forward to and our season is over on the 6th of May. Last year it was much earlier. They were chasing ghosts a long time back. This could be considered progress.

It'll be interesting how the summer shapes up then. We all know Wenger will stick to his youngsters. They'll all be one year older and I'm not sure he would go out and sign an experienced player. In fact, I think he won't. His footballing principles are that solid. A pity his belief hasn't translated into the results we want.

If Adebayor goes I wouldn't be gutted at all. His commitment to the club as of late is rock bottom. I'd rather Bendtner be given more chances or Theo moving to be more central than someone who couldn't care less in the team. He compares Milan with beyonce but forgets that Beyonce is married. It's a bad analogy in that sense, since married people are supposed to have everything they need already, save for those who indulge in infidelity.

The future always looks brighter but I don't know how the rest of the team sees it. Wenger can be their father or something but in the end, a footballer's career is rather short and they need to make the right decisions to move forward. I'm not sure if we could argue about this season being a step forward from last season. The last campaign we were doing so well all right up till the end. This season the boys reached Europe's top 4. And if I had to draw simlarities we seem to be knocked out when luck favours the other team. In the Liverpool quarter finals the little bitch Ryan Babel dived like a pussy and got the penalty which killed us. In this last game our 19-year old defender slipped, followed by our keeper who should have done better.

So yeah, I'll let Arshavin cheer me up. He's not a loanee. He'll be a permanent fixture next season. He's going to make more people hate him. :D

I want Grey's Anatomy NOW + Carrick gets ahead of himself
Michael Carrick is counting his chickens before they hatch. Mmmmhmmm.

He had done his math and calculated that if thumb-sucking Liverpool keep up with them by winning all matches with United doing the same, they could lift the league trophy when Arsenal visits the theatre of shit on 16 May.

Without a doubt, Sp*rs is in his blood. 'cept that he forgot he was playing Sp*rs first this weekend. And then Arsenal will be playing United twice before the league meeting at Old Trafford.

Far sighted as he might be, he's kinda a bit on the blind side. Or he doesn't take into consideration that united could possibly drop points. And the thumb suckers on their part, could too. Perhaps he could waste all his energy plotting his little chart 'my road to the league trophy beating Arsenal at Old Trafford' and hope Liverpool wins all their remaining matches too. Who does that? Any sane person would want their rivals to lose, lose and lose some more so that the trophy is in the bag ASAP.

Have you met a dumber person?

This has Sp*rs' wit written all over it. Come to think of it, they're kinda like a mini feeder club to United. I read somewhere that they're moping over not signing Arshavin first. They chose the bargain in the form of Pavlyuchenko and he's a total flop. I'm sure the only advice Arshavin got from him was about living conditions in London and how to cope and not how to play the game.

I still can't get over the 4 at Anfield. I really don't care that we didn't win. Like completely. It's one of those draws where it's a happy draw, unlike those midway through the season where there was no attack. The 3 0-0s in a row? That was painful. This one? No, definitely not. I think the quartet of goals is the icing. He was on a roll and none of the thumb suckers would have imagined anyone could score 4 against them. They never figured out that they only had to mark one person in the whole Arsenal team to prevent it. Just allowed him to strut his stuff at their great fortress and look like fools.

I want Arsha for my birthday. Maybe we could like, celebrate together. How often do you find a player you adore sharing the same birthday? It's so freakin fantastic. I'm already thrilled with Cesc born exactly 25 days before me. Now my new love was born on my day, albeit 6 years before. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Ack. Lots of hoops to jump through before the day comes. That in fact, is exams. How can May, the happy month of my life be ridden with exams? It is just wrong on all accounts. And I start on the 7th, when the 100th episode of Grey's Anatomy will be aired. Splendid. I can't scratch the itch while the rest of the world does until perhaps the 21st? By then I think I'll have no energy left. Actually, I always have reserve energy to play. Hmm.

Now I'm condemned to the following:

This sign applies at all times. Snagged it from Korea last december. Went there and bought tons of Uniqlo back and it's in Singapore lol. Price wise it's the cheapest in Hong Kong and I don't really get the rationale of of having it here since their cool awesome stuff are mostly winter wear. Their thermal wear is one of a kind. It's not the itchy woolen long john we used to be condemned to wearing. Their cashmere is gorgeous. You'll never see another collection as colourful anywhere else.

I want to go back to Korea for Spris Star and Basic House. I only have one from Spris. :((

Yay for playing my favourite song on my Zune. I love the interface. itunes is boring. Everyone has an ipod. I have the zune. A red one. As always. You don't get red ipods. They come in gross colours like blue and green and pink.

She's my little pipedream fantasy..

LOLS TO THE LIVERPOOL SHITES WHO THOUGHT THE GAME WAS WON AT 2-1
Bahaha.

I would be lying if I said I didn't care if Arsenal didn't win tonight. The game finished an amazing 4-4 at Anfield and we actually looked like winning except that our defence is porous and leaky hence the scoreline.

But what the hell. For us, we'll take that point. It puts Villa 8 points behind us. It is still a massive point. Would be wonderful if we had 3 plus bragging rights but I'm sure we would have it anyway.

Liverpool for all their domination, never really looked like winning. They are yet another pack of cunts with all their long ball whatevers and it's basic instinct that when their defenders get the ball, it's pumped straight up field.

So in your faces long ball cunts! You get 1 miserly point!

HAHAHAHA.

ARSHAVIN 4 REINA 0 LOLOLOLOLOLOLS.

And Bendtner had a goal wrongly ruled out for offside.

Anyway now I can say from the bottom of my heart that it's ok that Arsenal didn't win. I had such a fantastic time watching the game and I hope 4-5-1 with Denilson and Diaby in it is rubbish. Diaby coming on for Bendtner was a mistake. Once again, that person was tasked with defending the lead but did he? Isn't that enough to show that he doesn't even deserve to come on as a sub?

And the game turned in Arsenal's favour when Denilson came off for Walcott. The questions which should be asked is why couldn't we just play a simple 4-4-2 with Song in midfield with Fabregas, Nasri and Walcott flanking with Arshavin in the support striker role to Bendtner?

WHY?

Isn't it obvious that it's a system which works?

And the dude who was made to sit 75 minutes on the bench shows why he should be picked for the team every single time. Not 1 not 2 not 3 but 4 freakin goals.

FOUR! FOUR WORLD CLASS FINISHES!

Good enough to be in the starting line-up yeah? Instead of Denilson or Diaby. I really hate those two. I know the big purpose of them but seriously, they don't happen to fulfill what they're supposed to do and exposing the defence.

That's it for now. I'm going to continue laughing my ass off.

AND TORRES, THE MIGHTY TORRES, PALED IN COMPARISON TO ARSHAVIN. The Torres who played the ball into his own stupid face and backs into Silvestre from the impact looking for the foul. Like whaaaaaat?

Sordid tales from a sore loser? RIGHT UP YOUR ASS IF YOU THINK SO
It is hard to admit, but Chelsea were the better side...

..in terms of how they play their long balls? Teams with no balls play long balls 99% of the time. That is like Liverpool. And some dumbass Chelsea fan can declare that his team plays beautiful football. He is definitely 99% vision compromised.

The blame or 'reason for losing' should not lie with the other team. They do what they can (and srsly, what they only can) to win the game. Now take a good look at our Arsenal team.

Before the game, we knew we were horribly short defensively. For a team in this state, the cliche of attack being the best defense was the key to winning the game. In a cup game like this, the damned purpose is to outscore your opponent, even if it's 10-9, you still win. And look at the team being put out there.

So much for having all the attacking options in the world.

ARSHAVIN ON THE BENCH?!

That fucked me up when they flashed the line-ups. And I see Diaby playing in his place, Diaby who wants to be the next Vieira, Diaby whose position is more central that anything, playing on the left wing where Arshavin is fully adept in. You know, the Arshavin who didn't feature midweek. The fresh Arshavin with that one week break. The dangerous Arshavin who can torment the Chelsea defence.

And then Denilson. When he wasn't named in the starting line-up against Villarreal with Song partnering Cesc, you don't know how happy I was. And then suddenly Song loses his place? Song who most definitely is fantastic as of late. Denilson and all his sideways and back passing. Denilson who got owned by every player in the Chelsea midfield. Denilson who let 80% of his man get past him. And you have Diaby who likes to show off how skillful he is, by attempting a turn but loses the ball. Where he loses the ball is another issue altogether. Like in our own penalty area to Anelka. With Denilson partnering Cesc, you will never see Cesc being freed from defensive duties and getting balls up front more.

How many times must we go through these midfield problems? Finally, Song hits his best ever and is doing the job right - and then he gets dropped, ahead of Denilson whom the manager says isn't getting enough credit from the fans. Quite rightly so? Does he deserve credit?

Theo was amazing. He was doing his thing and causing Cashley all sorts of problems. The Arse fans never fail to boo his every touch which I thought was funny and this loss all but removed all gloating there for the taking when Walcott's goal came off a deflection off Cashley's hand. And I don't think it's ever the factor where when Theo scores we go on to lose to Drogba's winner. In the Carling Cup, what people conveniently forget (dumb Chelsea fans in particular) was that Drogba's equaliser came from an offside position. If it weren't for the official's visual impairment, there wouldn't be a winning goal.

This time, fucking Malouda that cock sucking faggot pushed Cesc in the penalty area and gestured to the ref that it was a dive. Ha?

This is precisely why Chelsea is a team of cunts. And so are their fans.

Silvestre's apparent handball would not escape me yeah. It was up against Drogba's shoulder, which raised and propped his arm up against the ball. Not that I forgive this idiot of a defender. He just totally gave up when the long ball came from Chelshite, exposing birthday boy Fabianski, who evidently, isn't ready. How soon can we get Almunia back? And the rest of our defence?

I'm not even citing our defensive issues as a 'reason for losing'. It's the attacking options all wrong.

CLEARLY.

On the plus side, Gibbs was fantastic. He stood his ground many a times and I can't recall if he ever let his man get past him.

TAKE THAT DENILSON.

SELL HIM.

He had so many chances and Wenger fancies this little fucker ahead of Song who has had fewer chances that him but took them so well JUST TO SIT ON THE BENCH.

Diaby is also a big mess. Before his injury, he was fantastic. After he has came back from injury, he's shit. So, are we supposed to flip a coin and hope for the best?

Forgive me for being pissed but tonight, everything was wrong. Nothing went wrong. Things were induced by these circumstances to be wrong. Things which could beforehand, be influenced to get things right on the night when it freakin matters.

ARSHAVIN ON THE BENCH FOR 75 MINUTES? BIG HUGE ASS GRAVE MISTAKE EVER.

DIABY AND DENILSON ALLOWED TO SCREW UP OUR SECOND LAST TROPHY HOPE?

DIABOLICAL.

And now I look to the next game at Anfield and I wish it'll never come. Will our season always end after an FA Cup defeat? We'll be finding out soon enough. We've got to thank West Ham for drawing with Villa though. We still have 7 points over them.

P.S. anyone recovering from a virus should be in bed and not at Wembley

The Smiles Are Back
He knew that the first goal wasn't his. But the second sure was. And finally, we got a picture of his goal celebration - with the tongue. It was a sublime finish and the goal was all his. He managed to get past Danny Simpson and then beat Paul Robinson. Fantastic. We needed that second goal for stability and he delivered when most needed.

Walcott showed how much we missed him. Just a minute into the game and he was getting the better of Warnock and getting in behind the Blackburn defence. On a day where Liverpool scored 4 against Man Utd, we managed to score 4 too, and even if it's against Blackburn, I think we're all happy beyond words.

There are 2 players most under fire and they're Bendtner and Eboue. Bendtner manged to score against West Brom. Eboue sealed the win with our third goal. This time around, Bendtner had a whole host of chances to up his goal tally to at least match Adebayor's but he made the wrong choice time and time again. I suppose credit to him for getting into those positions. When you manage a win like this you'll forgive him for not scoring. Sadly. Then there's Eboue, who has been a total klutz all season long and he got a brace. Unbelievable. He probably showed Bendtner how to poke the ball in instead of missing by a yard. And for all the team's troubles in Rome the other night, he didn't get to take a penalty since he was subbed off. He showed that he could put one away any day this time.

Tonight's a night of many penalties. At least for the two games I watched. 2 for the MU-Pool game and one for us. I think Liverpool was riding high on confidence and didn't do a boro, like how they managed to lose after beating Real Madrid. I told my cousin that Pool will do the double over United and I stuck around for the game to see if I jinxed them and I didn't. Bwaha. Honestly, I couldn't care less who won but I hate the brother and how he thinks MU are the best team in the world. Hate his guts. And he hates Pool as much as Rooney, another player who shouldn't talk too much. He's in a horrible mood now and is hungry and has walloped the tuna bread meant for breakfast. Is very funneh coz he ripped off the plastic hahaha. Little did I realise how much I hate the devils and it's so damn good to be gloating now. They were truly embarrassed at Old Trafford.

I probably jinxed Van Der Sar ahaha. After the high scoring Roma penalties I was comparing goalies and how VDS was more solid at that. Then he failed to save one and went on to concede 3 more goals. I appreciate Almunia a whole lot more. And with my comparision of him and mad Jens, we sure hope he doesn't become mad Jens with his talking down to Diouf for that foul, which was highly remiscent of Taylor's foul on Dudu which broke his foot. The replays were shocking and I think we were worried. The good thing was that Almunia continued comfortably and went on to put in an assured performance in goal. Shit that Diouf. That foul may well have warranted a sending off.

A scoring Eboue is a big welcome. It could signify a new deal signed and him staying on which we all can't really tell if it's a good thing now. I suppose he's still learning and could improve further but I don't think we have a lot of patience with that. Walcott's back so he'll probably have more cameos then starts and if he could score some goals every now and then without much incident, we should be contented with that.

The team's gearing up for the season's climax and it's a good thing. By the end of the international break we'll have Fab back too. Adebayor as well but if he's going to be a lazy slowpoke I'd rather he just leave. And also stop with the flirting with clubs. I don't see how he can walk into Milan or Barca and become first choice. Titi's at Barca and him and Adebayor are world's apart.

We've temporarily leapfrogged Villa to 4th on goal difference with them facing Sp*rs at home. I'm thinking of Sp*rs will throw the game just to spite us lol. We'll see. Villa doesn't boast the best home record so fingers crossed they'll drop all 3 points.

Lastly, I think Denilson and Song are forming a good partnership. They exchanged passes pretty well for Denilson to get the ball to Arshavin for his goal.

And I really want to see the look on Arshavin's face when Eboue stole his goal ahahah. His back was to the camera! We did the job without Van Persie. Blackburn was hoping for some jetlag from Rome but they sure didn't have that with them. The players finally managed to build on European success and injected that into the league.

We can all be happy with our win. Pool did their double against United, and we did ours against Blackburn with both games ending 4-0.

That's 8 goals past Paul Robinson. :D

I ♥ Owly
We should petition for Eboue to not wear an Arsenal shirt ever again.

I think these feelings will go on and on and on.

So.

Enough of that dumbfuck. More on Arshavin.

I suppose the people managing the official website sure knows what the fans are anxious about these days. Like they issued a statement in case people were going to put their money on an Arshavin debut against Cardiff come Monday. So he isn't eligible for the Cardiff game but could feature in the next round if we beat Cardiff. Which we should. It'll be interesting to see what squad marches out of the tunnel.

A little more on the sexist part which seem to allow opposing fans to pick on.

He has had his experiences. He can't really speak/understand English fantastically well. British tabloids like to make a big hoo-ha out of nothing. I'm not really bothered by it because sometimes, I do think that certain women shouldn't be allowed to drive. As with the perfect body, doesn't every male being think that way? We're not so different after all.

At least we don't have numb nuts like Gerrard, Robinho and Richards who are facing charges on counts of assault. Pick on those instead. The reports can't lie. They're released by the damn police.

And he's not a racist! Unlike one Miley Cyrus. This one is offensive because I'm an Asian with small eyes. Geez. Not all white people have large eyes either. Anyway. Ohnotheydidnt really rocks.

They have a mini Asian wave over there in the posting thanks to the above racist white trash. Enjoying it many many! It's like the Korean wave! You don't know how many people I know who would want to be reborn Korean instead of Chinese. Like Korea trumps Japan now.

More on Korea in later posts. It's just a fantastic place to be.

Back to Arsenal, Eduardo made the bench at Sp*rs as well. It's a fantastic sign and with Adebayor out for at least 3 weeks, he's a welcome boost. I miss him a lot. Also, Walcott could feature by the end of the month too. And then Mr Tomas Rosicky too, some time in March. Cesc is happily recuperating back in Cataluna and should make a come back soon. The team is suffering without these dude.

Anyway. If you're wondering what's with my Arshavin craze even before he debuts, I got a fantastic explanation.

He born on my birthdate!

Technically he's older so I'm born on his birthdate. 29 May 1981. Joyous. Cesc was born exactly 25 days before me on 4th May 1987. And owly (affectionately named by arseblogger and Gilberto Silver) is so goofy it's adorable.

Andrey fever is on. He should have chosen shirt 29 luh!
