nothing like retail therapy to get over a lousy loss.
It's funny how my body clock has been acustomed to waking up at 8 in Singapore.

Then I come to Seoul and I wake up at 8 here too, which essentially is 7 in SG. I still don't get how it works that way even when I'm in a different time zone.

I was at Myeong Dong yesterday and at one of the underpasses, there was this shrine for Man Utd. I obviously did not photograph it since I don't like them but you get that Park is on every corner. The funniest thing though, is that they chose the most unflattering shot of him and reproduced it many many. Looks more like a fuck face more than anything.

I met a gooner though!

I didn't walk up to him but it is always heart-warming to meet someone in an Arsenal shirt in a foreign country. He was wearing the Nasri kit. A gooner amongst all the United cunts is most welcomed.

We should sign a Korean.

Speaking of which, the transfer window is closing, like, tomorrow. It's pretty quiet on the Arsenal side of things and we all know quite well that no one else will be coming through. I'm not too worried, except that we all feel that we could still deal with a few reinforcements. If no one comes in and no one goes, I'll be pretty glad that Senderos is staying. I'm still a fan of him and I believe his future should be at Arsenal. Who knows, he could do a Flamini, only that he has more than 1 year on his contract. Besides, Gallas will be ageing and at some point Djourou and Senderos will be fighting for that place beside Va Va Verm. He is first choice, with good reason. We all love him already.

He so totally looks like a blood drained vampire.

Add me on Facebook (just search junichiarsenal@hotmail.com) if you wanna see my Korea Pics. There aren't a lot thanks to the non-stop shopping which is irritating my uncle. It's pretty funny. He thinks shopping is stressful (like all men) but it's a complete form of relaxation for me and it makes me feel oooh so good yeah. Nothing like retail therapy to bounce back from a stupid shit defeat.

Off to bathe and then I'll be bouncing to Namdaemun again because the aunties haven't bought enough. Trust me to tell them they didn't when we were at the shop and they didn't believe. It's how amazing that I managed to find the same shop I went to last year to bring them to. Namdaemun is as frantic as Bangkok's chatuchat. A pity I don't appreciate BKK at all. It's so hot there. I'm enjoying the best shopping weather of my life at 22 degrees. I have raided The Face Shop 3 times already and it's still not enough. I guess it's pretty smart to give out samples for us to try on the spot and go back to buy. Singaporeans and freebies is an equation that works.

Ta~

Me and my Rabbit!

Ancient Korean history is pretty tied with Chinese History so there are quite a bit of Chinese-y stuffs around, like the zodiac. Hence rabbit. The brother took with the snake. He totally loves it.

It's always retarded to give away goals so cheaply
What a cold morning. I guess Autumn is really coming. Obviously I'll be on a plane home before all the transformation takes place. The changing of seasons have always facinated me. Too bad there is no such thing in Singapore.

The weather's fantastic. It's cool and nice and it's pretty cold at night but no one here seems to think so. I'm the maniac who walks around in a hoodie.

Anyway, last night's game.

I totally fell asleep. I hate late kickoffs sometimes. After watching Liverpool squeeze out a win they didn't deserve, I didn't realise the same thing was going to happen with United. Those two teams hate each other to the bone and yet, they are pretty similar at being tyco.

I watched it with the brother and he was pretty funny. He woke me up when Arshavin scored lol. And then I went back to sleep.

Now I've figured out that everytime I sleep through a game bad things happen. Bad refereeing happens. Bad things just happen.

The media is a powerful tool and they're retarded too. And Mike Dean is an asshole.

Ok off to shop my wallet away~

Jun's in Seoul!
Here I am, blogging from Seoul. Rest of you dudes should be already comfy at the Liz, waiting for the game to start while the Liverpool game should be on to irritate you.

I mean, they're like the luckiest team ever.

So anyway, I hope the boys do well tonight. The majority of Koreans are MU fans thanks to 3-lunged J.S. Park.

I'm so tired from the trip here and the immediate transition into shopping. Like hah. I totally spent like almost all my money at the Face Shop already. Goodness gracious.

Myeong-dong tomorrow! It's going to be fantastic. I'm eating my face away at all things Korean.

Come on you Gunners!

P.S. the beer here is dirt cheap. There's a lemon flavoured one too.

I missed the Celtic game because I was so tired from work and I fell asleep and woke up at 5 am and it was over.

All I checked was the score before I went to back to sleep. It was 3-1. Little did I know that there was quite a bit of drama over the win.

It was kinda shocking since Eduardo never ever came across as a dirty cheat. And being a huge fan of his, I'd say fuck all, he's still our dudu and who out there hasn't dived? Who brought on the diving trend anyway. If it's any consolation, he was trying to get out of the way instead of playing for the penalty.

So when Celtic bastards call for his ban, they're just sour that they won't be playing in Europe's top league. Everyone needs a scapegoat some time and we gave them a chance to find one. This is the tactic where numbshites use big drama to cover up their flaws and lack of quality.

Suck it up, and do better next time. Reclaim the Scottish title perhaps? Losers that they are.

Since the qualifiers were done and dusted yesterday, the draw for the group stage has taken place and I'm pretty happy with our group.

Group H
AZ Alkmaar
Olympiacos
Standard Liege
Arsenal

Here's to more goals. Ac Milan are in the same group as Real Madrid so Kaka will return to the San Siro sooner than later. That'll be interesting. Barcelona gets Inter and Ibrahimovic and Eto'o will also be travelling back to their respective former grounds. It's all about fate.

I don't really give a shit about the draws of the rest of the English clubs. Heh.

While Aston Villa is crumbling this season after Barry's departure. They've crashed out of the Europa League.

Meanwhile, Fab likens the Gunner fans to a father-son relationship here. I thought it was funny. Ever since Adebayor and Toure have moved to City, all they were harping about was how much the City fans were like that of a beautiful sensitive woman. Oh how much she loves me yada yada yada. What is with all these comparisons? Like lols. I think A & T are a load of crap though.

I'll be off to Korea tonight. Should be able to catch the game there. They're 1 hour ahead so it'll be an even later game >:O lols.

Enjoy the match wherever you are.

A Whole Lotta Love on a Sunday Morning~
There is an article on Arsha, paparazzi style here.

I don't particularly like it, since the interviewer has written his tactics all out in the article, on how to get Andrei to open up and start talking. Prolly ran out of things to say or Arsha was just plain uninterested.

It's just that maybe we've found the reason why Mr Arshavin hasn't performed to his high expectations yet.

He brought his daughter over from Russia! When he first came over he brought his son only. Now his lil girl (15 months old) is here too and they're both energy filled and keeping him up all night.

There are quite a few dudes at Arsenal he can take daddying tips from. Father-of-two Alex Song for example...

And soon to be father-of-two Van Persie.

I feel like a stalker when I siff for details on their personal lives.

My newly converted Arse fan is quite retarded. Everytime I bring someone to the Liz they simply can't wear the damn jersey there. Must make use of the wonderful toilet at the Liz. The only reason why this person got her jersey so fast is because it was a gift for her 21st birthday by her really extremely thoughtful Liverpool fan friend.

Why retarded?

Alex Song, last name being Song, should be Korean and not Cameroonian. I thought Song is Chinese.

And John Utaka is supposed to be Japanese.

Younes Kaboul should be from Afganistan. I sort of second that.

Robin should be from the Batcave then. Makes total sense.

And for a little sunday joy:

Group hug!!!

Diaby has became more GARANG with hair.I will try to ignore Gibbsy's leg muscles. He's like a photocopy of Gael. Same haircut, same head shape, same left foot, same build, etc etc.. And just as cute.

Arseblogger likes to call him the lovechild of Clichy and Cashley. He takes after Clichy more. Thank God.

4-1 to the Arsenal for the first home game of the season
I got back from the noisy noisy happening Liz and the replay of the game is on Football Channel since there is no late game tonight.

A joy to watch all the goals once more, minus the one from an ex-sp*rs man. Oh how he celebrated. And how he was still on the losing side of 4 goals.

This game is probably the easiest one on paper when you look at all our opening fixtures. Man Utd and City away are to come, after Celtic midweek.

The boss took the opportunity to rest his key players with Gibbs and Eboue coming in for Gael and Sagna. Song was rested too with Denilson playing in his defensive role. Diaby started his first game of the season and did really well.

If you cross-referred to last season, Diaby was fantastic when it started too. He was scoring goals and exhibiting his technical quality on the pitch until the point where he gets injured for long periods of time. I hope nothing happens after this game. No one wants a repeat of last season where he featured sporadically and was largely disappointing whenever he came back from injury.

This game was probably to show the fans that we do have the depth to rest our first teamers.

But we will still be screaming for reinforcements anyway.

The Lescott deal should be materialising soon with Senderos joining Everton and we'll be extra light at centre back. I think that should be a priority signing at the moment.

Anyhow, what a game, and another emphatic scoreline. That's 10 goals in 2 league games and only 1 has came from a striker, Eduardo's goal against everton, which resulted from Arshavin's shot which bounced off the post.

Most of the goals have came from Gallas and the middle of the park. Gallas is now top scorer. He holds the number 10 shirt mind you. Denilson has 1, Cesc 2, Diaby 2, Ramsey 1 and that's a great return. It's almost like playing total football where anyone can score and it's a team effort.

This removes much reliance on the strikers when the whole team scores goals.

This is what Van Persie means by the team playing for each other.

I had an interesting conversation with my friend about Puasa. Robin is a muslim. Isn't he fasting? hahaha. Prolly why David James managed to save his thunderbolt while subsequent shots went into the wall.

I laugh many many.

Till Celtic.

Caldwell is the embodiment of divine retribution
I have reverted to normal human sleeping times and staying awake throughout the entire match was no mean feat. I mean, I let myself fall asleep at half time and woke up at the 60th minute or so.

It was status quo then, after Gallas scored yet another important goal in a second successive qualifier, the first goal that we need. I figured now for Arsenal, getting the first goal is crucial.

There was one Gary Caldwell, who showed us how much of a cunt he is. He went in on Cesc and claimed no foul but we got the free kick and we've got him to thank for that opportunity to put the ball in his net. Thereafter, he decided to do us one better and put the ball in the same place for us by expertly turning in Gael Clichy's cross.

This is the part where I say thank you very much.

And then pray and hope that all their cunty players who decided to keep Cesc at bay by going in hard on him did not hurt him. It's like he's receiving the Ronaldo treatment minus the part where he doesn't dive.

So we got the result we wanted. The passing and the movement of the team is fan-freakin-tastic and stray passes were a rarity. That is one part of the Arsenal game the boys have improved on greatly. That much said, in the past 2 games, we've been blessed with the chances to get the first goal and allow the rest to be history. There'll come a time where we might get off to a slower start and allow the opposition to get at us so that's probably the next test we might face. Too often a time last season we concede first just to have to put up a fight. That's going to be a good indication of the team's character development and that's one to look forward to.

There were league games going on at the same time and I found Sunderland really funny. Darren Bent scored once more after his sole goal in the league opener secured 3 points. I suppose he might have thought his against Chelsea might have the same effect. Who knew Chelsea would hit 3 back after the break to beat them comfortably. Wigan with their new manager enjoyed a solid opening game at Villa Park, just to lose to Wolves in the next game.

This just shows how much the first game is not a good indicator of the season to come. We have won 6-1. Like Fab says, it's just one down, 37 to go. I get the feeling the squad is more focused than ever and this could be our year. We couldn't have known that the weak links of the team were Adebayor and Toure, you know, Adefuckyour, who claims Cesc will walk out Arsenal's door if we don't qualify for the Champion's league. I suppose he must have been rooting for Celtic.

I still don't understand how a player can choose to fight for a team to achieve Champion's League status over a team who is fighting for the Champion's League trophy. His IQ is probably in the region of -10 or he doesn't have a brain. I guess we can safely assume that he thinks with his motor mouth.

If we manage to lift the trophy in May, I might send him a postcard on Cesc's behalf with 'HAHA' X 8924779342984 on it. Isn't it more prestigious to be a part of Arsenal's history?

He indeed does think with his ass. We do not need to hear anything else he has to say about Arsenal because he's not one of us and has no business speaking about us.

Oh yes, we beat Celtic 2-0 at Celtic park. We're halfway there. Fuck off Adebayor.

Slow Ride...take it easy~
My laziness is epic.

Evidently.

So the first game of the new season has kicked off. Due to certain unforseened circumstances, yours sincerely has swung from being unemployed and enjoying it to being over employed and utterly important for reasons I wished never materialise. Hence the working every damn day except when I managed to steal an unlikely weekend off and all I did was play Maple Story and watch football.

That in my books, is an ideal weekend.

Yes. I've started playing Maple again. I know. I understand your disbelief. Hah.

Anyway, I caught all 5 of the live games. First being Chelsea vs Hull, then Blackburn vs City followed by the awesome 6-1 win at Goodison where the most important team featured. Then yeah, those 2 on Sunday.

With the exception of Arsenal beating Everton, all the teams I wanted to get at least a draw or a win against were on the losing side. First Chelsea, then City, Man U and then Liverpool. When you get a match up between Sp*rs and pool it's obvious that I'll root for pool. I don't get how people can draw parallels with Bassong and Vermaelen who both scored on their debut. North London triumphed over the Merseyside but there's that part of North London that I couldn't care less about.

Media predictions each year write Arsenal off and play up Sp*rs and I can't figure out why.

Anyway. What a cracker of a game the Everton one was. I expected a closely contested hard fought game but it was anything but. The boys are raring to go and are so ready to take the upcoming challenges head on and it's fantastic.

I blame my stupid friend for falling sick and hence I didn't make my trip down to the Liz. So. She prolly owes me like for all the rest of the games this season ahaha. I can't believe I'm going to Korea on holiday again during the weekend of the 28th meaning I won't be around for the Man Utd game. Like meh. Anyhow, I'll definitely catch it in Korea.

I've got great responsibilites bringing people around.

But yeah! I'm going to get more Spris and Basic House and prolly one more pair of Adidas Stan Smiths. They're magical for a complete flat footer like me. The Koreans are predominantly MU supporters thanks to a certain Park but who cares, I'm gonna parade at Myeong Dong in my red and white proudly. Might meet a K-gooner and that'll be fun when we don't understand each other but love the same awesome team.

I wish I was still busy slacking until school starts but bleh, it's work everyday. The good thing is that my work schedule does not interfere with Football, besides the midweek games. Oh Celtic. That's going to be a very good game and I'll contend with streaming it on my computer.

Starhub sucks.

I might try out their Football Channel on mobile and see. The problem with having a Samsung though is that the battery sucks really badly and I totally crashed my phone listening to mere mp3s. Other than that, it's Korean.

Here's to a great football season. It's all starting again.

P.S. I get all pissy when the commentators can't pronounce Rosicky, Arshavin and Vermaelen correctly

I Just Died in Your Arms Tonight
It's a good thing I didn't die after I saw Rosicky play.

If it was OMG ROSICKY, then it's OMFG ARSHAVIN!

I am speechless beyond all reasons. I screamed WTF! at his second goal. Never in my life have I seen a goal like that. What a goal.

Anyway, it's the same story over and over. We score and then we give the team a very fantastic chance to reply and it does seem that a one goal lead will never be good enough for Arsenal. Need I remind you about Sp*rs and Liverpool, those 2 heart-breaking games where the defence was just beyond being in shambles but being utterly non-existent.

An impossible angle goal from Arsha and it's waaaaaay nicer than Adebayor's against West Ham some time back. Ade's was tyco. Arsha is class, although his reaction to it was probably because he thought it was tyco. Yes. ahaha. Whatever. Ade had the boing to the ball. Arsha's went straight in.

Dudu seems to like riding Arshavin. Have they became BFFs? I liked how he messed up his hair. Might piss Arsha's Yulia off since she airflew their Russian hairstylist in to do his hair because London has a lack of good ones. Whoever shaved Cesc's head should be shot.

Whoever advised Theo to keep a moustache should be shot too.

The night is still young, and Chip N Dale Rescue Rangers is on Disney Channel. Lol. And the brother wants me to give up the kids channels.

NO SIRRRR.

I still enjoy watching Bananas in Pajamas.

Oh Baby, you kissed me and stopped me from shaking
Ever got the feeling where at a certain moment, you could just die and then be happy about dying with a big fat smile on your face.

This is me now.

There can only be one reason.

OMG ROSICKY. In an Arsenal shirt. The team really missed him so so much. I missed him. We all missed him.

It's half time at the Emirates Cup and Wenger should be ringing the changes as he always does in a friendly game.

Do I really care about the second half?

Hah.

So, Toure went off to Man Citeh. What's funny is him comparing the love he feels there to the love from a woman. SRSLY. Him and Adebayor must be BFFs or something. One specifically designates Beyonce while the other just needs anything female. If Milan is Beyonce, I don't know what Citeh is. Miley Cyrus? I think she's irritating.

I think transfer news is just like a passing storm. I'll wait till it's thundering with lightning before I start to be happy about it. So far, we've only Verm to cheer about.

The transfer window closes in 30 days.
