Adebayor still thinks it's all about him. Apparently the dick 'regrets' his stamp on Van Persie. If you've guessed right, it's all for the wrong reasons. It's not because they used to be teammates. It's because you shouldn't do it in football. Finally some common sense? I bet releasing a statement like this is only to take yet another opportunity to talk about things of aged past like the insulting songs he apparently heard. Little did his minute brain realise that the case is closed. The away fans did nothing of that sort. I'm sure he has voices in his head telling him to go where the money is. Who is he kidding when he says he wanted to stay?
What peeves me most is that part of the 400 million Singapore dollars Singtel paid will be going into his pocket.
Shall we all rest in the fact that it goes into Arsenal's pockets too.
Srsly not helping.
Yesterday was quite the horrible day as you might as guessed as well. Getting worked up over everything for an entire day. First it was bringing up the bloody Singtel thing again. I was sort of self-appeased when I called Starhub and confirmed that my plan is over already and I can cancel it without penalty charges in May when the season ends. The trick here I realised, is to renew your plan just once every time those two idiots choose to choke each other. Sign on for 2 years at the start of the 3-year license. When you've seen out those 2 years, leave it no matter what the telco offers you to renew for another 2 years. Keep in mind that they stand to gain the most even if they throw in a lousy laptop.
We'll just keep switching until they get tired of that little game of theirs. The ang mohs can keep up with their laughing till then.
I guess sometimes it's true that Asians are only book smart and lack basic street knowledge. I don't suppose not fighting in a playground is in a textbook. Maybe if it was those two will stop fighting and focus more on what's important, which is the happiness of customers. Ego is such a huge thing in a male-dominated world. Coalition seems more like castration than cooperation. So yaaaaaay for bloody Singtel (they're red mind you)! You've got the damned BPL rights. A small group of rich bastards will feel contented over the whole thing while the majority moans at their stupidity.
Should end this matter there and then. Besides the part where Singtel and Starhub working together is as likely as North and South Korea reuniting, or even the North putting an end to it's nuclear weapons program. How about China and Taiwan? Just about it. Maybe Sentosa will declare independence.
I will jump at any chance to expand overseas. Why bother contributing to GDP here when it all pours out into ang moh's pockets anyway.
You knew someday that you'll be reading shit like that.
And then?
During my marketing lecture, my lecturer brought up stinky Singtel and how they've hijacked the Champion's League. She said that Starhub should be doing every fuckin thing they can to preserve their rice bowl, which is the holy grail of football - the Barclay's Premier League.
Nice. Real nice. So I've just renewed my Starhub cable subscription in May for another 2 years and then they drop a bomb like this. From August 2010, i.e. next season onwards, all football will be shown exclusively by MIO TV.
This essentially means that I will cancel my Starhub Cable. I seriously don't want any TV besides football.
This doesn't mean that I will sign up for Singtel.
Starhub should be issueing a statement soon enough to actually give us a picture of what remains for their sports group.
I am pissed because this tug-of-war between those 2 idiots in a fuckin playground do not benefit football fans one bit.
The effects of Singtel's coup on UCL will be thoroughly felt on match day 1
I am pissed. It's no longer about Adebayor. He's history. After the FA mets out his punishment, we'll all be celebrating and I'll leave that for later.
What sucks more than Adebayor now, is Singtel. We've known this a long time now, but it obvious how much of a cunt this telco is. As if owning the biggest market share in the telco industry isn't enough, they've now hijacked Starhubs monopoly in football coverage.
Insane.
You know, we wouldn't mind if Starhub increased the fees for Champion's League coverage. I can imagine then creating a new channel for it and how much more could it cost? Probably $10 or $15 per month, judging from how much HBO and Star Movies cost. We'll be unhappy over the extra subscription fees, but we definitely wouldn't be up in arms calling for Singtel to DIAF*. And if they make us pay extra for the more in depth coverage as compared to before, it'll be 100% worth it since they won't get to cut out the Arsenal games like before. Those days of complaining are over. -_-
For the average person, like me, who completely watches nothing else but sports and more sports, this is a completely retarded situation. I wouldn't be appreciating whatever rubbish channels Sing-bloody-tel has to offer on top of my sports group. I mean, I have 4 basic groups for Starhub cable and I don't fully utilise them either. I don't exactly turn on MTV and dim my room lights and start dancing naked do I.
MIO is a rubbish concept and I hope they lose mega bucks, using their telco moneys to cover their losses.
If we unite in not getting the lame stupid retarded shitty mother fucking MIO, it'll force them to sell their rights to Starhub and the hubbers will be happy.
In the meantime, I suppose it won't hurt to catch online streams of the game via TVUplayer. The links are on myp2p.eu and sometimes if we're lucky, we can get media player streams minus the Chinese commentary. The US ESPN shows UCL since they bought over Setanta. Singapore, being how globalised, will not enjoy any benefits from that despite there existing a channel called ESPN here. Such a retarded concept where TV rights must be sold here and there and ESPN is different in every country. Someday, we'll have global channels and Singtel can stick it up there somewhere.
And yeah, Starhub's hogging all the established channels and even when they created Football Channel, the idea sold and that's what we all call it over here. Simple. Singtel is just FULL OF SHIT. There's BBC and Nat Geo on Starhub. Nothing good left for ST. They may as well create new channels for their crap and no one will remember.
Singtel and Adebayor will make horribly good bffs. They're both obsessed with $$$ from us fans, while one is a disgrace to football, the other deprives us of football.
Cunts from the same hole I tell you.
Next time round MIO might bid for F1 and then get the qualifiers while Starhub retains the main race day. Sounds retarded, but it's the same as following football but skipping the European matches. A football season consists of every possible game the team plays. Nothing less.
There seems to be nothing much to say, besides 'Adebayor is a mother fucking cunt'.
I had some other funny thought about this game - it was like an Arsenal vs Manchesters mini league.
Arsenal's fixtures: Man U vs Arsenal Man City vs Arsenal
And City's fixtures: Man City vs Arsenal Man U vs Man City
With United's fixtures: Man U vs Arsenal Man U vs Man City
And when they made a table for that, Arsenal's at the bottom of the group with no points while the 2 Manchesters will battle out for top spot.
What a weird thought and a horrific league consisting of sheer and utter cunts.
Arsenal had no shot on goal in the first half. Once again, it seems like this team has returned to the team of last year. Does traveling to the Eastlands have that effect? Last time around, after that painful 3-0 defeat, Arsenal turned it around (not quite actually) and went on that long unbeaten run, which consisted of more draws than anything plus that 3 goalless retarded games in a row.
City shaved 3 points off us again, and by an emphatic scoreline nonetheless. Arsenal losing 3-0 and 4-2 are horrific scorelines which shouldn't happen but has happened.
I was terribly upset over the first goal. After this international break, everything seems to have gone haywire. Bendtner got 2 goals in 2 international games and then got big headed and set his targets for this season, to get 20 goals in 40 or so appearances. He too declared that he wanted the central striking role which Robin now occupies. There's something about this Dane. When he has something to prove or something to say probably, like to declare his targets, he plays his heart out and gets the goals and then the attention to do so. Thereafter, it's like making an empty promise and not delivering. Seems to me like he has this huge tendency to get thick-headed and cocky and then he stops working hard. When you tell yourself that you prefer to do the alternative instead of going on the path you're on, like say, playing on the right of a 4-3-3 instead of the one in the middle, you tend to lose focus on the task at hand. Nevermind Adebayor who has declared you as his no. 1 arch enemy thanks to some shoe incident in the dressing room.
How often have we had comparisons of Bendtner's and Adebayor's heading ability?
Who comes up tops eventually?
Watch how Adebayor skips past the challenges to put in that cross for SWP to miss. If it were he on that right wing, without a doubt, he would do so much than Bendtner.
I hate to agree with Adebayor but he is right about Bendtner. He's had it easy all his career. Simple.
In a war to prove a point, Adebayor made his, Nicky did not.
I wished it was Eboue who was coming on for Bendtner instead of Sagna. Sagna is the rock of our defence. When the centre backs happen to stray out of position, he's there to cover and clear the ball into touch. Put Eboue there and we have an attacking full back who plays the opposition on side.
Eboue has improved a lot this season but with Wenger converting him to more of an attacking player, it does affect the player's mentality and making him fill in at right back in a time where we need to score can backfire this badly.
Tactically, Wenger scored points at this one area where I know, I know, the people of the world will declare me a biased crazy fan.
Rosicky.
If it was the substitution to get the team going and get them to start their engines, this was it.
He's been out a long time and it's deja vu all over again, just like when Eduardo returned.
A pity the effect was shortlived but you know, this dude just proved that he's the grand master of scoring meaningless goals. How many a times do we have to see him score and reel away without a happy face?
Oh.
When he scores the goals to seal win. Breathing space.
And that was what Emmanuel Adebayor did for City. He made the 3-1. And yes, exactly as how everyone's going to put it, he ran the full length of the pitch to celebrate in front of the away fans.
When he scored, it was instinctive. I knew he was going to do that.
I only enjoyed how enraged the visiting fans were. A fucker like him declared that Gooners are fickle supporters. We're so fickle we might stop hating him tomorrow.
NOT.
If Wenger steers clear from signing African players for good, I might support him. This rags to riches and planning for retirement story is getting extremely old. All they want is more and more money. People who are born in Europe understand this goodness and I believe they're more inclined to be more passionate towards the club than to money. It's as easy as saying that people who have never seen money before will be possessed to go after it a lot more than regular people.
I guess he's very damn happy at City. Good for him. He could be the one to steer City to ultimate glory but seriously, I don't get how their fans can love and cuddle him when obviously, he's the grandest cunt of all. If C. Ron ever came to Arsenal I'm not sure if he'll be loved immediately. Then again, I don't think he'll celebrate the way Adebayor did if he scores against United. The other man to watch is Tevez, who sort of left on bad terms but it wasn't with the fans.
Arsene Wenger is a star maker, but he seems to also be a cunt maker. That's 2 to his name, including Ashley Cole. With these two it sure looks like money is the root of all evil.
And then.
I haven't even gotten started at how Adebayor was trying as hell to injure our players. I mean, if he went for Bendtner we'll all understand.
He went for Cesc's leg and Van Persie's face.
OMFG.
WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH HIM?!
These are the two nicest dudes in the Arsenal team and I can't imagine anyone going for their leg and face respectively just because. You can headbutt Bendtner and that's fine. His head is too darn big and he makes it even bigger himself.
I don't think I will ever be a Bendtner fan. Sometimes he wows me, other times I just want him off the bloody pitch.
When Walcott returns he might kiss that first team place goodbye.
And that's exciting because Walcott's pace could add a whole new attacking dimension to the 4-3-3 and I guess I'll save that for another day.
I whacked my friend the minute Rosicky pulled on the Arsenal shirt. Whacked her even more when he came on. Burgeoned her when he made that assist.
How I miss you so.
And he scored. On his return. He played 42 minutes.
I don't really care about the league table at the moment. Not too long ago we were doing really well and we started to falter. No one knows what this season holds. Just when the defence looked like they were tightening up, shit happens.
There's time between now and the next big game to improve and do better. It's the midweek game next.
Adebayor's a huge cunt and everyone knows it. Not need for more reiteration. It's still pretty early in his City career. He has a lot to prove now so he's upped his game. Wait till he gets bored again. I'm sure the City fans will be singing his name out loud week in, week out.
I think it looks as though I've blamed the whole defeat on one Nicklas Bendtner. It was never my intention. This dude just frustrates me a lot. I think it was collectively a poor outing from the team and I couldn't feel the passion.
I hope they get it back again soon. Having no shot on goal in 45 minutes is simply disturbing for all that good passing and movement.
I interrupt this international break to bring you AARON RAMSEY!
Oh my Welsh boy.
Watch his goal for Wales U21s.
If Wenger is criticising England for utilising Theo for both the senior squad and the U21s, I suppose Ramsey should be getting the same attention too. Toshack that fickle fella calls up Ramsey and then drops him whenever he deems fit, just because he qualifies for the U21s as well. People should have defined places in the National team. Bendtner never had to play in both squads at the same time, despite being young.
A lot of utter rubbish in the press. I think they don't deserve any screen time really. How many times must we remind ourselves how big a cunt John Terry is? He is turning senile and completely retarded.
I have Rambo to make my day. His technique is simply superb.
I have reverted to normal human sleeping times and staying awake throughout the entire match was no mean feat. I mean, I let myself fall asleep at half time and woke up at the 60th minute or so.
It was status quo then, after Gallas scored yet another important goal in a second successive qualifier, the first goal that we need. I figured now for Arsenal, getting the first goal is crucial.
There was one Gary Caldwell, who showed us how much of a cunt he is. He went in on Cesc and claimed no foul but we got the free kick and we've got him to thank for that opportunity to put the ball in his net. Thereafter, he decided to do us one better and put the ball in the same place for us by expertly turning in Gael Clichy's cross.
This is the part where I say thank you very much.
And then pray and hope that all their cunty players who decided to keep Cesc at bay by going in hard on him did not hurt him. It's like he's receiving the Ronaldo treatment minus the part where he doesn't dive.
So we got the result we wanted. The passing and the movement of the team is fan-freakin-tastic and stray passes were a rarity. That is one part of the Arsenal game the boys have improved on greatly. That much said, in the past 2 games, we've been blessed with the chances to get the first goal and allow the rest to be history. There'll come a time where we might get off to a slower start and allow the opposition to get at us so that's probably the next test we might face. Too often a time last season we concede first just to have to put up a fight. That's going to be a good indication of the team's character development and that's one to look forward to.
There were league games going on at the same time and I found Sunderland really funny. Darren Bent scored once more after his sole goal in the league opener secured 3 points. I suppose he might have thought his against Chelsea might have the same effect. Who knew Chelsea would hit 3 back after the break to beat them comfortably. Wigan with their new manager enjoyed a solid opening game at Villa Park, just to lose to Wolves in the next game.
This just shows how much the first game is not a good indicator of the season to come. We have won 6-1. Like Fab says, it's just one down, 37 to go. I get the feeling the squad is more focused than ever and this could be our year. We couldn't have known that the weak links of the team were Adebayor and Toure, you know, Adefuckyour, who claims Cesc will walk out Arsenal's door if we don't qualify for the Champion's league. I suppose he must have been rooting for Celtic.
I still don't understand how a player can choose to fight for a team to achieve Champion's League status over a team who is fighting for the Champion's League trophy. His IQ is probably in the region of -10 or he doesn't have a brain. I guess we can safely assume that he thinks with his motor mouth.
If we manage to lift the trophy in May, I might send him a postcard on Cesc's behalf with 'HAHA' X 8924779342984 on it. Isn't it more prestigious to be a part of Arsenal's history?
He indeed does think with his ass. We do not need to hear anything else he has to say about Arsenal because he's not one of us and has no business speaking about us.
Oh yes, we beat Celtic 2-0 at Celtic park. We're halfway there. Fuck off Adebayor.
Cuntley Cunt is pulling off the same shit he did at Arsenal, now at Chelsea. Bad things happen when you accept incarnations of Judas, as with Manchester United and Michael Owen but we don't have a solid conclusion to that one, yet.
He wants to be on par with the highest paid in the club, once again.
Without a doubt, RM have no trouble meeting his pay expectations nor the transfer fee. In a team built for mercenaries, he'll fit in perfectly. Just not sure how he'll be able to bargain for Ronaldo and Kaka's wages.
Obviously, he and Hleb have a lot in common. They cook lies about the weather and the language barriers to engineer moves away from Arsenal when in truth, they are just excuses. Before Cashley left, he spoke about there being too much foreign languages spoken in the dressing room. At Chelsea he probably got more English but how about a move to Madrid? English will sure as hell not be the most common language there. Try Spanish.
All the transfer gossip has died off a bit, mostly linking Adebayor with a move away. That should materialise quite soon if it is going to be happening at all. Whatever the case, Wenger already has a back up in mind.
The more worrying issue now is not Adebayor leaving but the arrival of a midfield general. Melo is out of the question now and there aren't really that many names popping up. We know that Ivan Glazidis and Wenger are doing their jobs so I'll just sit tight and wait for it to happen.
Please happen.
I don't know if anyone of us can stand another season where Denilson and Song are to be depended on when they aren't ready.
People who don't watch football are missing all the good stuff
What a match. We all have vested interested in the U21 Sweden vs England game and they did well.
I shall start with the grand cliche we all know too damn well - it was a game of two halves
This point can easily make me throw a fit when I recall last season so it is advisable to never touch a copy of the 2008/09 season review.
England were easily 3-0 up at half time thanks to set pieces. If height were a determining factor to how much of a threat a team would be from dead ball play, it wouldn't apply to Sweden. The Swedes are tall. Nicky is tall. Ibrahimovic is tall. I suppose I can safely assume that Scandinavian dudes are tall. And yet it was England who profited from all 3 corners which resulted in goals.
Come the second half and no one in hell would have thought that the Swedes would fight back. Not until the 70th minute at least. I left the match on while I was doing my own things like watching some other show on my computer since at 3-0 and the way the Swedes started the half, it looked like England were through.
It was kinda like a wolf in sheep's clothing. They led the Englishmen on the pitch to believe that the game was all but over. Then suddenly they pulled a goal back. And another one.
I stopped watching my show. This is the kind of fightback which just gives you the feeling that it'll go all the way, and boy did it.
In no time at all, it was 3-3, and that freekick leading to the third goal was sublime. Kinda like the Dani Alves winner for Brazil to send them to meet the USA in the finals of the Confederations Cup, minus the retarded goal celebration and the pointing of his fancy "Daniel" tattoo. Who tattoo's their name in cursive across their chest?
Anyway. The game then went into extra time and it was no longer any game of two halves since it became 4. Of course, Fraizer Campbell was on song to make his application good enough for Hull City by getting sent off for a bad lunge. All too familiar. He's going to fit into Phil Brown's setup perfectly, especially since he has Manchester United and Tottenham education already on his CV.
And then now with Agbonlahor suspended for the final too, Theo will most certainly be the man leading the front.
Frankly, I do understand why he has come under fire recently. He belongs to a good football team and has most things going smoothly for him. He's got the adoration of the fans and all so people just want to try and stick things up him when they find the chance. Everyone forgets that he is still a youngling who needs time to grow and he's been through quite a bit since his first shoulder injury, which I believe, is affecting his game a little bit.
you would recall a time where Arsene Wenger declared that Walcott has the potential to be better than Leo Messi when he reaches that age. One thing he is lacking now is the ability to successfully get past his man. Many a times he bombed forward just to be dispossessed and the attack breaks down. He's been plying his trade mostly on the right wing so when he moves to the middle he tends to be quite anonymous. That would be the other thing he needs working on, which is his off-the-ball movement. I believe that when he gets the hang of those 2 he can truly be better than Messi.
And all others, including the cuntbag brother laughed when Wenger said what he said.
Wait and see is what I tell you.
And for more wise words from Wenger, ESPN's football up close is doing an interview with Le Prof, to be aired at 7pm this coming Monday. I have no freakin idea how to tape it since I don't have a dvd recorder so I'll pray some wise Gooner will do it and upload it to youtube or something. Interviews like these ain't like those Spanish shit where the English media conveniently lift off whatever they think is useful in order to do what they do best, to give a warped version of the truth.
So anyway, it went down to penalties and James Milner did a David Beckham slip. The cursed number 7 shirt for you. Let's hope Walcott doesn't take that shirt for the World Cup. He did however dispatch his penalty with ease. It was unlike the Roma one where he placed the ball and turned for his run up and then just went for it without looking at the keeper. This time he placed the ball coolly on the spot and then ran up to take his shot while the keeper was being a clown, with flailing arms trying to put him off.
It's the small things like that which shows you that he's becoming a man.
Then we have Gibbsy who did his bit as well. I guess it's safe to say that any Arsenal player is technically gifted and I'll add that to my list of why I love the Arsenal.
Twitter was a blast. It totally came to life with honest to God updates. Love it.
This is just why we need Sp*rs around. They're really a bunch of numbshite clowns who never fail to amuse. Now they're signing a petition to remove the mustard off their jerseys. When we wore the Herbert Chapman white jerseys in his honour they were going on about how wearing white is such a purity Sp*rs issue. Now they get yellow, which they refuse to call yellow but mustard. They can't tell colours apart can they? I can't say no one eat hotdogs in England since I should think it's the kind of food people eat at football games. Anyway, now we can laugh at them. Like hell Puma's going to change the kit because of some stupid petitions. If anyone knew better, petitions just do not work. They could get Arsenal fans to sign on it and it still wouldn't.
Another weird bloke is trying for reforms, but without a petition. Maybe he's one level smarter than the spuds. Phil Brown wants a 30 min timeout before post match interviews because he can't get his emotions in check like SAF and Arsene Wenger because he's inexperienced as a Premier League manager, not because he's a cunt. This has got to be the joke of the century. With the current technology, everything is reported in real time. Who wants to wait half an hour for post match reaction? It is not a fucking interview where we sit down with coffee and ask a whole host of questions listed on a piece of paper. It is meant to be spontaneous to capture the heat of the moment and why we bother watching sports at all. In Premier League terms where another fixture is to follow after the first game then who the hell is going to wait that half an hour to hear what the orange cuntbag has to say? Might as well just scrap it completely. The world would be a better place without having to listen to Phil Brown.
I shall end with the greatest bit of irony: the ref PB abused is taking over as the chief ref.
Fallout 3 is a freaky game to play in the dead of the night.
Or that's just me.
Anyway. The Daily Mail has people who do their jobs actually, despite the contrary. They published the full Michael Owen brochure.
lol.
Like I said, the only person who'll buy into that piece of rubbish is Phil Brown. Owen's lactlustre performance for Newcastle did them no favours in their relegation fight and I'm sure the purpose of his agent to release such a document is to attract big clubs with big money to throw and not lowly Hull City, who should have been relegated anyway. How will he be motivated to play for the likes of Hull when he couldn't for Newcastle, a much bigger club?
I have one theory.
If Newcastle had survived then he would have to stay, won't he?
No excuses about them not being in the top flight, no excuses on his pay package either.
This happens when people stop being the professionals that they were.
I didn't know Arsha was the highest paid at Arsenal. He's the only gunner on the list. Gallas didn't make it and Cesc didn't either. Cashley's on it and we all know why. Anyhow, it's not difficult to see why Chelsea is heavily in debt. Abramovic has a money printing machine stashed somewhere to finance all the loans to the club. Someday if he pulls out or decides to sell the club and buy a boat instead because the boat is less of a cunt, the there goes Chelsea.
And Cuntley Cunt.
Wenger says no one's leaving. That's a little hard to believe and if that's the case then it is unclear who is first choice centrebacks don't you think? I suspect a centre back will leave at least, and if the right offer comes in for Adebayor he's gone too. The silver inning of this article is that Wenger has at least 1 or 2 more targets in mind. Yeah baby.
Just when I thought doing nothing was fantastic I got bored of doing nothing and hence I'm going to start doing something and get ma freak on.
I think daily/frequent updates might dwindle but I don't think I am popular enough to cause some big uproar, of sorts.
Earlier in June, Owen's management company sent a brochure to potential buyers to remind them of the talent that saw him score 158 goals in about 300 games for Liverpool and 40 goals in 89 appearances for England.
With respect to Michael Owen.
Guess who's buying into the PR?
Hull City's moron king Phil Brown.
He seems to have a knack for paying good money for players who are past their best and injured 70% of the season. Earlier in January he bought Jimmy Bullard who went on to be injured for the rest of the season after his debut.
A bonus is that he doesn't need to pay a transfer fee for Owen, just his exorbitant wages. They'll be looking at losing £100,000 per week for someone who'll be hogging the treatment table, lying just next to Jimmy.
Chances are, they'll become Hull's BFF pairing of the next season.
Arsenal's BFF to everyone though, isn't having a very good time on the transfer market. He's placed himself in the shop window but those who come knocking aren't good enough for him, in accordance to whatever he thinks his calibre should be deserving of.
Florentina is a no-no.
I can't imagine how another season with Eboue will be like. Will he have another boo-ing session at the Emirates? Or get sent off against Sp*rs for something silly again?
We'll never know until it happens.
It's been pretty quiet now right after someone has signed. Give it a few days and the media will be in full swing yet again.
I miss Gilberto. He would have been quite the figurehead. In Wenger's terms perhaps, keeping Gilberto would kill Song and Denilson. From a fan's point of view, I don't see how they could have died because of that. Throwing Denilson in so early when he wasn't ready probably was one of the chief factors which killed our last campaign. Admirably, he did do what he can to the best he can but at the Premier League level it wasn't enough. All our midfield frailties were exposed so badly I remember Danny Murphy dominating our midfield when we played Fulham.
That clearly shouldn't be happening. Regardless of who dies, I think we really need a midfield hardman quite badly.
After that, we just need everyone (including Rosicky) to just stay fit like their lives depend on it.
All our problems will be solved and we'll win the quadruple next season.
I thought the all important update should be coming after 5 pm since the fixture list will be out.
Apparently though, for Arsenal, part of our first fixtures are out already and according to all the other shitty non-gooners it's pretty bad. Smart of them to start making themselves heard before they see their own.
But whatever, no matter how easy or how difficult, Arsenal always has a tendency to stumble anyway. Do fixtures really matter? The job still remains plain and simple - keep winning.
I'll see the rubbish we'll be getting later.
Anyway, why the earlier post is because Xabi Alonso and his Liverpool fucks are fucking leg-breakers. As if once isn't enough. Further reports have suggested that the tackle on Cesc and Carzorla weren't serious to keep them out of the Iraqi game, but srsly.
FUCK YOU ALONSO.
And they went and tried to end the careers of the two who had bad injuries last season. Carzorla missed the Arsenal-Villarreal game through a serious injury if you recall.
You can hardly safely assume that a shitty team like stinkinpool doesn't practice defending like 99% of the time because that is what they only do. Defend, defend, defend, the counter attack.
The counter attack part means pump long ball.
I bet that fucker Alonso wouldn't go in as hard into Gerrard or Torres but because it's Cesc, from Arsenal.
Not sure Cesc would still want him at Arsenal now. Except that they've made up yet again after Alonso simply apologised. If apologies worked then the world wouldn't be at war. North Korea could apologise for their nuclear test (no way in hell they would) and then still keep their reactors going and the world will be fuckin okay with it.
Then we have the other cunt in the form of Stuart Pearce, who dragged Theo to Sweden for the U21 Euros just to want to axe him now.
SERIOUSLY.
The press isn't the best outlet to air such rubbish about non-performing players. Theo is the last player you should speak of like this because he's one of the few players of the world who plays football with his heart and without a doubt, gives fucking everything, especially for his lousy country with some numb shit as manager who doesn't appreciate it.
GTFO STUART PEARCE.
Even Capello knows he has to give Theo time and is keeping faith in him to allow him to grow and develop as the first choice right winger for England. So screw you Pearce shit, Theo can take a break on the bench instead while England crumbles to Spain and you wouldn't have Theo to blame, neither will you have to depend on him because you simply don't deserve to have Walcott at your disposal you stinkin son of a bitch.
In happier, happier news, our lady-hater Arshavin is coming out in strong support for the female Russian team. Not sure they'll appreciate it wholly after his declaration that women should be banned from driving but apparently not football. Hiddink is the other extra who's jumped on the bandwagon. I like him so much better when Chelsea isn't in the picture. Actually no, still can't hide my animosity.
I love you Arsha, and the ladies should too.
There are the extremely dumb ones who can't see beyond that comment. They choose to adore the likes of Ronaldo who is a golden brown STD carrier with only a capacity for one-night-stands without knowledge of how women should be treated with respect, with the exception of Paris Hilton.
Would you prefer some guy who thinks girls shouldn't be behind the wheel because he's had a bad experience i.e. an accident which almost ended his life but he is still all capable of starting his own family with a female being
So the LA Lakers ended NBA season instead of allowing the Orlando Magic to force a game 6. That essentially means that they've won the title.
Being football starved forces you to get up at 8 am (having only fallen asleep at around 6) to watch some form of sports to feed the ailing heart.
Except that it didn't complete work since I'm still football starved because it's BASKETBALL.
Fundamental problem of every month of June unless there's extra rubbish going on. I mean, it's 2010 next year and there's the world cup. Nothing out of the ordinary, once every 4 years.
What's hilarious is Singapore's thrown-away GOAL 2010 dream. Never was close. Never will be. You get the feeling that football in Singapore will always be a total fail. Even our greatest pride in Table Tennis still loses hands down to China, keeping in mind that they're from China too.
Anyway, Kobe Bryant is some kind of awesome. To be at the top, and then hit rock bottom and make it back to the top again, is no mean feat. Phil Jackson kinda reminds me of SAF but I'm missing the point where he isn't a cunt, or that I would never know since I don't follow. He did publish a book branding Kobe Bryant "uncoachable". Look where they are now.
We'll never see this with Ferg and Ronaldo will we.
Not that we want to.
Cesc doesn't want to. He thinks United will crumble without Ronaldo, who has opened a crab farm in America. He might fail his Madrid medical because he lost his P.
Cesc has been talking a little too much to the media really.
But he has his points.
Whatever it is, he will stay at Arsenal player. However much he loves the Barca players and Pep, he loves the Arsenal too. Growing up in one place doesn't mean you have to stay there forever and not fall in love with anything else.
Our airport has slipped to number 3. Normally I would care, but I just don't. Incheon International is number 1. Maybe that's why. It's hard not to fall in love with Korea because it's Korea. South Korea to be exact. You'll never find another as cultured society elsewhere, with probably closest rivals being Japan. The only things different with Japan are their masked kinkiness and their penis God.
42% of South Koreans do not have a religion.
How marvelous is that.
There is football tonight. Theo and Gibbsy will be in action for the U21s. I'm definitely watching. Gibbsy as a utility player? That's something I gotta watch. Stuart Pearce pushed him to cover in the centre of the park the last game and he was superb.
I need to be clear that I'm not for converting positions because it's crap and we've seen too many people playing out of position last season and that totally did not sit well with me. Besides, Gibbs was converted once already from being an offensive lefty.
That's enough.
In boardroom shit, apparently Use-my-knob has came up with an ingenious plan to buy unsold shares and give it to the fans. Even a 2-year old can see that it's a bloody ploy. In his world, by accepting any little bit of his kindness would just inherit obligations from some numb shit. He never gets it that we don't need his help.
If there's anything to learn from what RM has done this transfer window, English clubs need to see for themselves that a billionaire's backing is unnecessary. You don't need someone to tell your manager that hey, I dug into my pocket and here, you have 10m to spend. Use it wisely. If you want more, you'll have to sell before you buy.
When Fans own the team, they can buy anyone. It benefits the stupid shit Ronaldo and his spread of herpes in Spain but at least he is out of England.
6 on the trot as I examine the world's craziest crazies
So. I had to watch the whole game last night. Not that I was watching as intently as I would an Arsenal game but ya, watching.
Somehow, Capello seems to like to make half time changes so I was hoping that Walcott would come off for Ashley Young so I have all the reason to turn off the TV but he replaced Gerrard, who simply cannot play on the flanks. Young did so much better and that should speak volumes.
I wanted to set fire to the commentator who was constantly dissing Walcott with his every touch of the ball or when he lost the ball. For the love of God, he's only 20 and is still developing. If you are unhappy about his selection, take it out with the manager. I'm sure Walcott will outsprint you by a million times. He is so passionate about his game and country (sadly) that he's going to take part in 2 tournaments and forgo whatever summer R&R, going against his club manager's wishes.
So up your hole, commentator whose name I can't really be bothered to find out, except that it wasn't Martin Tyler.
I think I was pretty much caught up reading up on Osama Bin Laden come the second half. To be honest, I thought he was in his 80s. Weird beard and saggy face makes for such an assumption but in fact, he is 52, after his declaration of his birthdate. What I was interested in is his ideals and what he wanted for the world and why the hell do they call doofuses like him extremists. Now I know why. He completely lost me when his beliefs consisted of civilian deaths being part of the master plan. This numbshit claims immorality on homosexuality when he married 4 women and fathered 25. He too claims immorality on fornication, which is consensual sex between unmarried individuals. If every man was entitled to 4 wives, perhaps whatever fornication bullshit would not take place. If Osama had to be contented with 1 woman he would be more American than he wants to. Americans can go to Vegas everytime they want to have sex then. Marriage as an institution consists of one man and one woman and not one man and four women. That is what is truly immoral you cunthole.
I got onto the dead or alive chase (albeit a very short while) because of recent N. Korea rubbish. No one knows if dear freakin leader Kim Jong il is dead or alive.
Some things we'll never know. Anyway, that wonky dictator's wiki states that he is a proficient user of the internet and srsly, when the rest of his country isn't. I suppose he watches foreign television as well and probably subscribed to Setanta or not, since they're crashing out. Skysports then. If he ever supported an English team, it would definitely be Manchester United don't you think?
SAF is football's only dictator and we're all crying tears of sheer joy he didn't take the Arsenal job. He may have delivered more trophies to Arsenal than Arsene Wenger would have, but the fundamentals of the club, whatever makes Arsenal, Arsenal, and why I love the Arsenal, will all cease to exist.
Lastly, Capello is one hell of a manager.
Capello: I want an early goal
Capello gets it within 4 minutes.
How often does that happen? Save for the opponents having to be Andorra.
It is as though I have cable subscription to for about 10 months in a year only. So. Why the hell do they charge us this much for it?
I think all of us will be a lot unhappier next season when European games are no longer brought to us by Starhub. Fuck Singtel really.
I want to watch Sweden vs Denmark since there's Nicky and then there's Ibrahimovic who totally decided to criticise Arsenal for our youth policy and incurred only Bendy's wrath.
I think a war of words in football is quite pointless because what happens on the pitch is all that matters.
Hence I want to watch Sweden vs Denmark but I'm having trouble finding out if it's even being shown on TV since the Starhub website doesn't stop short of sucking.
Mah.
With respect to Ibrahimovic, I think he should play with himself in one corner instead of trying to screw around with premier league boys. For starters, I can't really name any great people who moved from the Serie A to the English game and did ever so well to be a star for both. Italian teams haven't been faring well against Englist teams in the Champion's League either.
I only can think of Thierry Henry who made the move and became the star he is now. Titi who, on all accounts, was a fish out of water at Juventus. He wasn't a big star there.
If you look at Coloccini, he was a big hit back in Italy. He came to England and see what happened to Newcastle.
Championship football.
And the way Ibrahimovic played against Man Utd was embarrassing for a player with his reputation.
So as far as I'm concerned, if it isn't another Thierry Henry, there is completely no need to dig into Italian teams to find a defender especially.
That includes Zapata.
He could be another Coloccini.
We most certainly do not want Championship football. He can go to Sp*rs instead.
The Serie A is really in serious need of a revamp as they are going to carry out next season. They're not competitive enough and just bullshit for the most part. No one thinks about Italy nowadays. It's all about Spain and England fighting it out.
Screw yourself Ibrahimovic. You know nothing about Arsenal, Italian Swedish scum.
I have crazy bad sleep patterns. This comes from having a total lack of things to do or just basically, enjoying not sleeping.
I woke up at 4pm today. It's getting later and later. I sleep at like 10 in the morning. It's diabolical to say the least.
This way, I'll definitely sleep half my birthday tomorrow~~~
I'm turning 22, Arsha's turning 28.
In other news, the Singapore media really sucks, especially our sad and sorry excuse for a tabloid. They just won't leave my friend alone, her being the first H1N1 case. What sick people need is complete and undisturbed rest and it's something these gossip mongers do not understand. They even named her. What the shit.
No one understands that some of us like to live our lives under the banner of avoidance.
Maybe she should grant them a up close and personal interview at hotel TTSH CDC 2. Phone interviews not accepted. Come feel the virus. Bastards.
In other other news, the warring siblings is set to continue. But whatever. He wants to bask in the great joy of beating Arsenal 3-1 at the Emirates then go ahead. Not like we never won at Old Trafford before. We kinda won the league there. It is so completely not the same as winning the semi final leg 2 at our home ground.
I am thankful for the boys of old.
Realistically, cuckoo United aside, we saw last night what the finished product of a football-playing team is like. And while Arsenal can boast to play the same type of football, it's just not the same thing. We do not have the players to finish off the game and to take each and every chance. Off the ball Barca are fantastic. Perhaps you could count the seconds they take to get the ball back once they've lost it. And they are amazing keepers of the ball and look at Arsenal, who give the ball away in the areas which makes us concede.
If the boss doesn't reinforce this summer beyond the 2 15-year olds he's adding, we're probably going to be screwed against next season. The good thing about Arsenal is youthful exuberance and it makes us all feel young watching them. This feeling though, is transforming to frustration and we need to start winning things.
Granted, the reasons why I support the Arsenal is because of everything else. Surely history is rich and much to be desired. It's about the present now. We emphasise player development and instil the Arsenal values from a young age. It is more of a footballing education. For this sort of system there is a need to excel and to graduate from it and winning things is the only way up. The fruits of the academy and the belief the boss has in his young guns has to translate into trophies.
I don't think the Arsenal fans can take this stick of not winning and fighting only for fourth any longer. We support our team with our heart and soul and we don't run and hide when things don't go well. We need to start winning and send those other dumbass fans to their graves or just shove it up their holes.
For us, the future is always brighter. For teams like United, Ferguson probably has found the right mix of young and old. Their old are getting older.
And it's funny how Sp*rs do not come into the mix of things at all. Ahahaha.
