I like to Eboue Eboue.
In the blink of an eye, CNY is half over already. I think most of us had a very busy weekend considering that it was sorta the only weekend in the 15 days. Let's not count the last 2 days. I don't think any kiasu Chinese will wait till the last 2 days to go visiting.

Anyway, there's no midweek game so it's all quiet. The media can repost interviews post Sunderland and it's still boring. Cesc to Barcelona circus has taken a short short break, well at least until the next time Arsenal screws up.

Chelsea play Inter Milan for their round of 16 game and we did ours last week. Which means the team has an entire team to prepare for Stoke, a place the Gunner dread visiting and they should well learn from the FA Cup exit we suffered there. There can be no excuse for tired legs (lol Ferguson) and the lads should put Stoke in their places. Failure to do so would most definitely mean that we're out of the title race. Every game from here on end is decisive and dropping points is not an option. United may have faltered but Chelsea are still going strong even without playing well at all.

There's been much talk surrounding Walcott and a World Cup call-up but the lad knows that he needs to do well at the club level first. He also knows that he needs to improve on his final ball. I'd start him against Stoke and give them something to worry about while we worry about Delap. Although in the return fixture at the Emirates Vermaelen did very well in that game. He took it upon himself to clear the long throws and they didn't cause us any troubles.

Nicky B has received backing from the boss, like he really needs any. I hope he'll become more and more like a striker i.e. shoot when in good position. Don't need to take an extra touch, don't pass it out wide again when you have it in the centre too. And don't assume that the defender in front of you is definitely going to head the ball clear. Just go for it. Bottomline, is, don't be lazy.

Injury news haven't been updated but I'm hoping Arshavin returns. Stick him on the left with Walcott on the right and you'll have craft, creativity and speed. Then of course there's Cesc in the centre. If Diaby doesn't come back I'm hoping Ramsey keeps his place. Diaby of course, is still the preferred choice. We need all the height we can get.

Anyway, I really love Eboue.

He has come a long long way since the fans booed him off in the Wigan game at the Emirates last season. Do you recall twatybayor using that incident to blame his bad performance on the fans? This is how you win the fans over, something that Adebayor failed to do. He chose to give up and continue to be lazy. It wasn't until he realised that he could actually in a coffin (from the Angola shootings) that he started to be more appreciative of playing football and giving his best. Well his best got him nothing against Liverpool last night but he was trying. Anyway, Eboue got his head down and worked hard to win the fans back and I'm sure I'm not the only one who lub him many many now. There was always the easy way but he chose the harder way and came out stronger. His dribbling is breath-taking. I can't recall him giving away possession while with the ball to his feet all game on the opponent's flank. Finally. There is competition for that right back slot. And good competition it is. Sagna could take the cue and improve his attacking side and it's a win-win for the whole team.

Just like how Denilson should take Ramsey's cue to simply be a better footballer.Wenger's faith in Diaby is almost completely repaid now, so is Song's.

I'm not too excited about the World Cup. I don't care about who's going and who's not. In the past, like 4 years ago, I would be so interested in Arsenal players playing in the tournament and watching it for them. Probably how I came to like France when Titi, Pires and Vieira were playing. I think France is nonsense now though. And I would love if our dudes took the summer off to recharge and prepare for the next season than taking part in some tournament which benefits the bookies more than anything else and risk injuring our players. The international managers don't seem to care much about the condition the players are returned to the clubs anyway. I don't think they actually care if the player has to play through pain and injections.

To end off, I have a friend who thinks John Terry is hot. Jaw-dropping. Ashley Cole already has his 5th mistress and counting. Tiger has 18. (Is there a need to count?) Anyway, their records make JT's look juvenile. Only 1 Vanessa Perroncel. Of course, he prolly has more from the past. Smart enough to pay them all off to keep it quiet. Or he must really be damn farkin hot to charm their pants off and seal their lips too, although sealed lips sure means less for him.
