Considering that we don't play any of the big teams, Alex Ferguson's dissing of the FA for not extending Thomas Vermaelen's ban after our appeal is as ridiculous as the FA dismissing it.
Why did the FA extend Rio Ferdinand's ban?
IT WAS A FUCKING ELBOW TO THE FACE.
Does he not understand the FA rule book? Vermaelen's alleged 'foul' will never ever come anything close to VIOLENT CONDUCT.
So up yours, Ferguson. May karma find you in ways where Wayne Rooney is out for the rest of the season.
It's obvious to see that the dick of all dicks is finding Arsenal a real threat now, so much so that he has to use his mouth and the media to play his 'mind games'. Oh dicky, we're not worthy. Keep your 'mind games' for your own players.
Besides, even if the ban did get extended, it would be against Wolves at home. It is plain to see that Faggotson is looking for anything he can get. Try a hooker website. I hear money can buy you love.
So, tonight. There is indeed a lot of hype surrounding this fixture at St Andrews. The good thing, is that Martin Taylor has pursued a different career path at a lower league, that bastard. Wenger believes in Eduardo and he hopes that the Brum fans don't sing Taylor's name. If the betting agencies have this one, I would buy it. Fans in the midlands simply have no class. When we played Villa not long after the incident, they too were singing shit. Can't count of retards to not behave like retards right?
Stoke fans included.
Good thing Aaron has 2 legs now.
I'm a little nervous about the game but I guess it's normal. Whatever it is, it's going to be a tough game but I think the lads have it in themselves to cope. What maturity they've gained over the course of this season will be tested tonight, with Barcelona in sight. I think the next 2 games in the league are pretty crucial. Past track records do show that Arsenal's focus falters with a big European game midweek. Hopefully the lads, led by Fabregas will have their concentration with them and get the 3 points. They can think of Barca all they want after they've won the game.
Arsenal beat Bolton at the Reebok 2-0. Ever since Sam Allardyce left, it seems that Bolton as our bogey team has since passed. Actually, it has passed since that 3-2 comeback win 2 seasons ago in the pouring rain, when Cesc scored the winner.
We came away with the points, but it didn't come easy.
Evidently though, it was Arsenal with the shooting boots on. (Thank God for that)
Cesc got us the early goal. I love early goals. In Arsenal terms, early goals means goals in the first half, not in the first 20 minutes. He was magnificent throughout the game and that was probably the reason why he was getting fouled like nobody's business. Nasty stuff really, from Bolton. He should have had 2 penalties as well.
Eduardo did pretty well today, despite not getting a goal to his name. Both goals were a result of his assists and he is growing into this role. He was always dangerous when the crosses were coming in and that isn't easy especially when you're often the only one in the penalty area. Crossing was much better today, and it was down to Rosicky. He adds so much more to the team and he seems to be like the only one in the team who can put in decent crosses.
Traore was getting owned on the left side by South Korean winger Lee Chung-yong, probably because Arshavin wasn't really supporting him. I suppose that's the difference between playing centre forward and on the wings. You have defensive duties as a winger, even though we all know that Arshavin does what he does best, goal side of the pitch. Clichy then came on and he brought more defensive stability on the left side. A good comeback from him after being out for so long.
Latest injury news see Ramsey and Nasri joining the list. This isn't good because we're wearing really thin in midfield. Diaby sure does look like a 90-minute player now and he definitely is Wenger's starter, making him and Fabregas 2 out of 3 in midfield. Song is the third but he's away so there's a chance for Eastmond and Fran Merida, who did very well to get on the scoresheet. I'd imagine Merida to play higher up in the pitch with Rosicky dropping deeper in the centre of the park. The only problem is, Mr Tomas Rosicky cannot be trusted to stay fit just yet. I'm so thankful he's back, but I feel like it's all borrowed time. Need to get that feeling out.
I think Wenger will sign someone. He knows his team and he has ambitions too. And of course, Sol Campbell and Galindo do not count. We really need someone who can slot right into the team and make an instant impact. Time is running out. We may have beaten Bolton, with another game against them still to come, but I don't think we are able to match Chelsea like for like. That run of games against the big teams is going to shape the title race drastically and might put us out of it so we need reinforcements for this crucial period.
Bolton again on Thursday morning. Owen Coyle hasn't had a chance to bring any of his teams to the Emirates. Make no mistake - they're going to come at us as they did last night.
West Ham couldn't do a Leeds and we aren't Man Utd (thank goodness)
There is only one Aaron Ramsey.
This dude has the fans singing the Arsene Wenger chant with his name in it, and quite rightly so.
It's a classic example of taking chances. The opportunities for him in the first team came and so far he has taken them in style, showing everyone what a big player he is going to be for us.
He became the darling of the team when he first arrived when Alex Ferguson and United legend Welshman Ryan Giggs couldn't convince him to join them and he chose us instead.
Look at how far he has come, this time, popping up at the right time to score the equaliser to set up a grand stand finish for Eduardo's header, which was nothing short of fantastic.
The game was pretty evenly matched from the start. Both sides created very little but eventually, West Ham got the goal they deserved for all their hard work. I'm not sure we needed to give a game to Silvestre who really isn't the player he was at United. He was slow to react and Diamanti managed to keep onside thanks to him and got the goal. I don't see why Traore couldn't continue in the first team since Wenger chose to keep 3/4 of his back four intact.
He shuffled the pack in front of the defence somewhat but Song kept his place to play one last game for us before catching the plane to Angola. Ramsey kept his place too with Merida completing the midfield trio. Up front Wenger brought in Vela and Wilshere but chose to play Vela in the centre and dudu on the left. I think Eduardo should be primarily deployed in the centre. He's not new to playing centre forward and is a natural striker while Vela has been mostly deployed on the wings. If Vela's in the centre because of height then there is not much case for that since there isn't a very great height difference between the 2. Overall, before Diaby and Nasri were brought on, we struggled to get behind their defence to create anything.
West Ham came out after the break and started to settle in a little more. At 1-0 against any Arsenal side there is simply no time to sit back. Behrami and Kovac continued to match us like for like in midfield and were doing a good job at that. Then Wenger, who has been really smart with his substitutes as of late, brought on Diaby and Nasri for Merida and Wilshere. I think before, if you mentioned Diaby as a sub late on to change the game, I would have laughed it off and expected things to stay status quo. But he came on and did really well and if he manages to stay injury free and consistent, he can make a difference this term.
So the draw for the 4th round has happened and looks like we'll be travelling to Stoke City. It's so early in the Cup and we're facing all the premier league sides already.
Sp*rs entertain Leeds United. Heh. I'm wondering if they'll learn from United's lesson or simply be Sp*rs.
So, this was quite the eventful 3rd round of the FA Cup. Man Utd crashed out to Leeds at mighty Old Trafford and Hull City, who created all that drama from nothing last season are out as well.
Ferguson has declared that the peeps who took the pitch tonight are not fit to face City in the Carling Cup semi final coming up in midweek. I think that'll do the youngsters' confidence a world of good. So much for youth development.
Ahahaha. Seriously. Just when I thought the international break was just going to be boring and uneventful with a whole lot of our players getting crocked, I was wrong.
So wrong.
The angry Irish people are angry. Angry at Thierry Henry. Oh baby.
It's not like a whole lot of whining and anger will get them to the world cup. You're out of it, suck that. I look at the Irish team and there's Robbie Keane and I have zero sympathy.
So, the angry Irish have written to FIFA to request a replay of the play-off in France, one that is so not happening. I mean, even the Irish prime minister has chosen to intervene. Lol at Football mixing with politics. They're going to start bombing each other soon. Or start a world war.
Why are the Irish angrier than the Scottish?
Because that goal Gallas scored sent them out.
Why weren't Celtic as pissy after the Eduardo dive?
No matter what they did, they were never going to win.
These are just the horns of the lesser nations blaring at their inability to win the game. We can all whine and scream about all the injustices on the football pitch but ultimately, the ref's decision is final. That's the part that hurts, but that's just part of the game. Kill the ref, not the player. If Robbie Keane was in the same situation he would have used both hands.
Titi is still my hero. Everyone has a point in Arsenal history where they started becoming a fan and mine's Titi.
Oh and part of being Irish is being a little bit on the cuckoo side. Henry currently plays for Barcelona. Why is Arsenal even in the news?
He didn't cheat while at Arsenal. Use the brains God gave you.
On the Arsenal side of things, if there are to be positives from this horrible 2-week break, it has got to be certain injury news. I was incensed to find out that Cesc and Vermaelen played 90 minutes in a pointless friendly. Srsly. Gallas playing 90+extra time is for a good cause. (HEH) Arshavin did 90 too so I don't know if the boss will be resting these guys at Sunderland. The positives come from players returning to fitness. I think Gibbs got crocked at a very stupid timing. Traore is fit and ready and probably hungry to take that left back spot and I think the boss will go with him ahead of Silvestre. Hopefully, I'd say. All that is associated with Silvestre is his experience.
After that, it'll be interesting to see who takes the left back position against Liege since Gibbsy is earmarked to be ready for that game.
Denilson is back too, so is Vela. Timely for the both of them. I'm hungry to see Vela play in our 4-3-3.
That's about all, besides giving Eduardo the time to sign a new contract. He's one of those players who are extremely settled over here.
The true tests of the season starts tomorrow. It'll be playing every 3 days soon enough and still grinding out important results.
Liverpool play Man City. hahaha. srsly. I think I can put my money on a draw.
Lastly, the charity video for the Great Ormond Street Hospital is the love. Cesc as a bunny couldn't be more apt. And Arsharkvin. Sagna is cute too. And Theo as a lion hitting on a girl? Awesome.
You know, I wanted to by half goal Arsenal, meaning Arsenal wins the game by 2 goals. Thank freakin heavens I didn't have the time to do it. 5 minutes into the game and we're already 2 goals down -_-
What rubbish. First, it was a back heel by Eduardo where the ball was most probably for Cesc but it reached a Liege player first who made no mistake to put it in the back of our net. Then Gallas tripped another Liege player in the box not so soon after and they converted from the spot.
If memory serves me right, Mannone has not kept a clean sheet in his senior Arsenal career. And he had to stand in-goal for a penalty in both games as well. Like hahaha. Not his fault at all. I think the young lad needs better luck.
So 2-0 down in the first 5 minutes. Diabolical. Absolutely diabolical.
After that you expect a reaction and some urgency but it never came. The passing was wayward and they weren't finding their man. At all. Then from nothing, Diaby suddenly woke up and with some good skill he delivered a perfect pass for Bendtner to sprint onto and to finish from a tight angle.
2-1 at half time, and that brought us right back in the game. That was the crucial goal. Many a time we go behind early on but still go into the break goalless. This time there was a response just before half time and it was timely. Goals at the right time changes the mentality of the team.
After the break, it was back to being sloppy. The dudes maintained their cool and patience and tried to find a way through to no avail. And then we finally got some luck with the equaliser, which is highly controversial by any standards. Hilarious to say the least. I was literally laughing my ass off. 3 players were offside and that was what looks like a handball by Song.
Cant say this isn't deserved with the pressure Arsenal put on them. They too just sat back and invited us into their own half. Besides, their award of the penalty was pretty soft as well. I think the Eduardo factor probably played a part too. On another day the ref could just dismiss it, especially if it happened to us.
Anyway, with the equaliser you always knew Arsenal would be going all the way and getting the winning goal. And they did, through Eduardo's knee. That redeems him of his error earlier on but it certainly did not make the job easier for us. I'm glad he's back and around and I hope this whole diving shit will be history sooner than later.
All through the game when it was 2-0, I was thinking about the ex-gunners and their thoughts, you know, the ones who aren't involved in European football at all. Man City hasn't bothered to contest Adebayor's charge for violent conduct and good ol Emmanuel, in his pension home would be sitting in front of his TV watching the Arsenal, laughing at the scoreline.
Except that in the second half Arsenal hit 3 goals despite it being however unlikely and unbelievable.
Hilarious is the word. I don't think we'll ever get another comeback as easy as this one, especially when the players weren't doing as well as they should be.
All in all, it's 3 points and a win for a change. Glad the next game will be back at home. It is so much nicer at home.
Unexpected beginning, with a more unexpected result.
This is a fluke win.
Note to self: Bendtner is much better in the central role
UEFA decided that they only wanted to open one can of worms and screwed the cap on tightly on diving. The can left open is Chelsea's transfer ban, along with several more investigations into the other top clubs.
Somehow, no one is wondering why the hell Arsenal isn't right up there with them. I think with the signing of youngsters, the club is more willing to pay the right compensation for bringing a young one over and in turn, it does help the youngster feel more valued and it'll definitely be in him to want to repay the club even more.
And I cite Aaron Ramsey. I love this boy. Makes it so much easier when he's this good looking.
Keep the hair bb! And shave is the message for the rest of them, especially one Cesc Fabregas. There's no need to keep a beard like Xabi Alonso.
So classy. And yes. No need for more official club statements. Too many in the span of so few days. Too much drama. We're hogging the headlines for the wrong reasons, even though it's extremely heart-warming when the fans of the world unite against Adebayor. I'm just wondering if it's enough for them to bother boo-ing him at every game. Hah. He might make a habit of celebrating in front of the away fans each time and get banned every 3 games. What a way to earn his pension cash without having to work all that hard?
So yes, Eduardo will be available for selection for Liege. His methods are classy. No need to cross compare with Shrek's "I am honest" declaration and then he goes and dives again. And screw the rest of the world (Fergie in particular) for supporting UEFA. Just because Ronaldo is at Madrid now you thought you got rid of your diver. NOT. Shrek has kindly taken over. The real shrek is a sweet green ogre, but with a Rooney face. No offense to the real Shrek.
I will watch a stream on Thursday morning. Any stream. As long as I don't have to give Singtel any $, stupid retarded shits they are.
Won't hurt to post the streams here if I remember!
I think. The next few days will be all about Adebayor and the lengthy ban he'll be slapped with.
This is a case of a numbshite not considering the consequences before doing something, except that it obviously has blown to epic proportions. Not sure if the punishment is equally epic. We'll be watching.
There is one good thing from this!
It seems that he's hogging all the headlines because of his lack of IQ + EQ and it has liberated Eduardo from the diving rubbish.
Maybe he did it all for his mate Eduardo, while trying to break Cesc's leg and take out Robin's eye. Hard to believe.
He's going to hell anyway, and the FA seems to be picking up the slack a little bit so he should be banned from the Manchester Derby. That may just derail their momentum and we'll see Noel Gallagher having plenty to say to this retard.
Mark Clattenberg is another retard.
Adebayor could easily have been off for an early bath at 1-1 following the stamp on RVP. The result could have been so different.
At the end of the day though, we should not require the sending off of an opposition player to play against 10 men to win the game. The lads should be winning regardless. Midweek is a chance to set the records straight again in Belgium and then in the league as the season continues.
Almunia's form has dipped aplenty ever since Capello said that he's not going to look into that option. Also, Jens is no longer on is back while Fabianski is injured and isn't good enough to harrass him from behind.
It's not the end of the world yet. There's plenty more which can be done. If any team is in trouble, it's Everton.
The brother has been shipped off to Tekong. It was kinda sad. My already small family is even smaller now. He couldn't adore Hari Raya any less.
Oh and Mark Hughes is a cunt. As if we never knew that. So I figured out the one part where Adebayor used his brains. He's paid many many and with a 4-match ban, that's a month-long holiday since they don't play in Europe, the twat. What a way to apply for leave. I'm sure he can backpack Europe and Asia and be stoned every leg of the way.
Full fledged injury update - many casualties reported.
So hi! My face is swollen from you know what but anyway, I'm already back at work. Because I'm too nice and too understanding.
It's the last day of the school holidays I think. A mother wants to spend time with her kids.
I'm so pro family.
I guess when the international break is overrr, it's when we start getting happy just to become utterly bogged down with injury news, what else. We finally get official confirmation ofDjourou's injury, effectively ruling him out for 6-8 months. They might as well just say till the end of the season or there's possible retirement in sights.
Someone who isn't retiring like we all feared, is Tomas Rosicky, who played 56 minutes of competitive football for his country. Oh my little Mozart. Are you back for good?
A downright bitch I'd say, but not to God but to Guus Hiddink.
Mother fucker.
Whore.
And Wenger did not fail to diss him for fielding Arsha.
In the same article, Wenger also mentioned that Theo has been rid of his injury but is not fully fit yet. Right.
Dumbfuck Englishmen booed Eduardo at Wembley. They have complete and utter disregard of the laws of KARMA. Someday when they grow old they'll lose a leg or break a leg beyond repair and whadoesitmatter? They have the welfare state to take care of all their problems. Bankrupt the UK.
Doesn't it feel sometimes, that angmohs are really dumb too? Besides the typical Singaporean who are pretty much caught up comparing who is better in bed. You should go read the Asiaone forums. They're pretty hilarious and completely unfounded. Day in day out it's all about the same thing - angmohs vs asians' ability in bed. It's as though Singaporeans don't get enough sex so they have to talk about it online. If you haven't bedded an angmoh, then how would you know who's better? And I'm not sure there's an international standard for good sex. I give you an A+++ today. :DD
SO, leaving the best for last, Wenger, who will forever and ever defend his players, past or present, has declared Adebayor to not have 'moneybags' as his middle name here.
Um seriously. Isn't this like the biggest joke of the world?
Google 'Rooney Dive' and you'll see a whole host of interesting results for ugly shrek. The real Shrek is funny. This lookalike is plain boring, imo.
'I am honest'
And then dives in the next game, 2 games in a row.
People think it's characteristic of women to 口是心非,but obviously, Shrek Rooney is on the same bandwagon.
Ever since Ronaldo left, Shrek has been trying in vain to fill his boots, as the greatest cunt in mancuria who mistakes the green green grass of home for the deep sea.
The problem with Eduardo's dive is that we condemn it, we do not defend his ass and he is only receiving sympathy because UEFA, this cock association, is singling him out for punishment when clearly, this is his first time diving (at least in an Arsenal shirt) while the rest of the world out there practically play football in water when they get to the penalty box.
Like oops, slippery.
And I realised that there is no Arsenal football till next Saturday when we play Man City who have Adebayor who is prolly fired up to score against his former club, having scored already in every game this season. That fuckface is a quality player, but he lacks complete professionalism and we can only wait for his decline when he gets bored or when Milan or Barca declare empty interests.
The only thing on show could be how a squad built with balance can whack one with all things bought. It would be an interesting game to say the least. Pundits should be backing City.
After the United game I was pretty glad. No unbeaten record thank you very much. I really hate the unbeaten record. Winning streak is preferable. If draws are many then no unbeaten record thanks. I abhor it. Detest it. It gives a false sense of well being when clearly, the team isn't playing well at all. Hopefully we can resume business as usual at City and in turn, blight their winning start to the season while we start ours.
If City were to break into the top four, it would definitely be at the expense of Liverpool who look completely out of sorts without Alonso. United are coping without Tevez and ROnaldo. Arsenal look a better side without lazy Adebayor and Verm's the perfect replacement for Toure.
Liverpool are simply crumbling. Hate the scousers.
Oh yes, more blogging thanks to a long break from work and then school's starting. :O
There isn't much in the news since the season is ending. It'll be all but over come Saturday.
The good news is, the game will be shown at the Liz so I'll be going since my exam is all but over. Yes.
Renew membership lol. Byebye $30? Heh.
According to arsenal.com, dudu has undergone simple revision surgery on his left ankle.
I never thought surgery was every simple but we get that this is normal. More of a follow-up perhaps. Martin Taylor is going to be playing in the premier league next season. That's the reality.
The better news is that he'll do rehab in June and recover in time for pre-season training with the rest of the team. Somehow it's not always wise to trust such forecasts but it's better to, until bad news surfaces. Just take things in the positive light.
Tomas Rosicky should be another long term absentee who'll be back. One season off his career wasted.
That's it for today. I am going to watch my Korean drama.
But they're ready! At least the captain is. I ♥ Cesc. I ♥♥ Cesc on facebook. It's really him so you should add. He has someone managing it for him.
I'm going to stop spamming my livejournal for at least the whole of today with just one post. I think I flooded my friends page yesterday with incessant ranting. Over there it's emo land with all my troubles and random shites.
I am tasked with preventing my friend who might turn 75 by just sitting at home doing nothing on weekends. So. You shall look at the men. The good men from around the world. Makes you realise that the Arsenal boys don't really do these things often and makes you wonder whyyyy they don't.
Cesc: I want to do a cesc-y pose
Boss: You can only expose as much as Freddy
Cesc: Can I do a Ramos instead?
Boss: Your boots might be too small
There is only one bright light in Real Madrid.
Maybe Cesc can try this:
I like his tattoo. Ibrahimovic is Swedish like Freddy. The brother has an obsession with Norwegian Fjords recently and it's on his list of places to visit. Scandinavia. What do we have from there?
A young Danish giant. For Arsenal, that's all you're getting. This is it. There isn't anything more.
THAT'S IT. There's only one Nicklas Bendtner. This is like a goal celebration i.e. match picture. Makes me wonder if the boys ever do any modeling.
Arshavin has been posting pictures on his website. When he said in the interview that Arsenal fans do not know him yet, except only when he scores, he probably means the more personal side of things. So we get a photo spam of him in his new house with is wife and son. I think he left his daughter in Russia. :O
A little Daddy love anyway..
His offspring is so cute. Arsha's birthday is coming! That means mine too. HEHE. ♥
He kinda bought the Arsenal car. CITROËN. He is so Arsenal. His wife loves London now. And through her, we got a little more insight on hospitality at the Emirates for the wife and kids of Arsenal stars. They might meet up with different Nasri girls each match.
Dudu's Lorena might Fancy Arsha's Artem or Robin's Shaqueel.
She has many to choose from, including Alex Song's 2 kids. I don't know if they're boys though. Need more info.
Anyway, Becks still has it..
You might wish that him training with the Arsenal squad to get to full fitness for England might mean him passing on some modeling tips but it is evident that it didn't happen. Did they learn anything from him at all?
Cue the most disturbing of all:
Oldest player in the Premier League at 38.
Althought if Cesc or any Arse boy did this we'd all be over the freakin moon.
Theo Walcott never ever takes off his shirt. Adebayor might consider if he wants Beyonce. Story here. She might give him a Halo for that.
She's studying Physiotherapy and is an understudy for the Arsenal ladies team in hope of knowing enough to support Theo in this area. Just when I thought that romance and girls supporting their men are overrated. They've been together since 14 and clearly, they both know what they want. Magic.
Cesc did some modeling anyway, just for Nike. Nothing much exposed considering it was all covered by red powder. :O
And if you haven't heard Cesc speaking Spanish before..
We all know why Cesc need more cesc-y poses, he is too goofy.
