The Verminator could miss more games, while Thierry knows how to tug on our heart strings
Most disturbing news of the day: Arsenal is appealing Vermaelen's Red

Judging from statistics, the FA hasn't overturned many decisions this term. Instead, they have relentlessly added on to the punishment for apparent 'frivolous appeals'.

Good Lord.

Don't know if it's well worth the risk, but Vermaelen could potentially miss the visit of Wolves too, i.e. fresh for both Barca ties. Won't miss the trip to Sp*rs either so we'll see if this pays off.

Most endearing news of the day: Thierry Henry's dread of facing Arsenal

Don't know if he'll be taking the field to face us, but it's going to be an emotional day for him and fans. Everytime I think Thierry now and his love for Arsenal, Adebayor seems to pop into my head. Thierry was his mentor yet the finished product is a total cunt. Don't need to remind you of how he went out of his way to celebrate his goal. Nosirrr.

I personally think that Thierry is a model pro, and you give your best for whichever team you're on, regardless of previous connections. It's going to be the same for Cesc, so if Thierry plays, I'd expect Henry to do his job.

Since we're on the topic of Adebayor, Jay-Z, husband of Beyonce, has reiterated his support for the Gunners. HAH. I think we're more interested in Jay-Z's reaction to Adebayor pimping off his wife, using her to symbolise AC Milan. If Jay-Z were a true Gooner then he should be absolutely pissed as we were, that this Arsenal player could find it in himself to court another club so openly. Of course, it's not surprising that anyone uses Beyonce as an analogy. Honey B's stocks are always rising. Perfect collaboration with GaGa.

Anyway, on the whole Thierry thing, he may well be leaving for the MLS in the summer. I don't think it's a bad thing really. And like most of the European MLS players, it would be a dream if we could loan him during the MLS close season. Just a thought, for a perfect dream to become reality.
