So wrong.
The angry Irish people are angry. Angry at Thierry Henry. Oh baby.
It's not like a whole lot of whining and anger will get them to the world cup. You're out of it, suck that. I look at the Irish team and there's Robbie Keane and I have zero sympathy.
So, the angry Irish have written to FIFA to request a replay of the play-off in France, one that is so not happening. I mean, even the Irish prime minister has chosen to intervene. Lol at Football mixing with politics. They're going to start bombing each other soon. Or start a world war.
Why are the Irish angrier than the Scottish?
Because that goal Gallas scored sent them out.
Why weren't Celtic as pissy after the Eduardo dive?
No matter what they did, they were never going to win.
These are just the horns of the lesser nations blaring at their inability to win the game. We can all whine and scream about all the injustices on the football pitch but ultimately, the ref's decision is final. That's the part that hurts, but that's just part of the game. Kill the ref, not the player. If Robbie Keane was in the same situation he would have used both hands.
Titi is still my hero. Everyone has a point in Arsenal history where they started becoming a fan and mine's Titi.
Oh and part of being Irish is being a little bit on the cuckoo side. Henry currently plays for Barcelona. Why is Arsenal even in the news?
He didn't cheat while at Arsenal. Use the brains God gave you.
On the Arsenal side of things, if there are to be positives from this horrible 2-week break, it has got to be certain injury news. I was incensed to find out that Cesc and Vermaelen played 90 minutes in a pointless friendly. Srsly. Gallas playing 90+extra time is for a good cause. (HEH) Arshavin did 90 too so I don't know if the boss will be resting these guys at Sunderland. The positives come from players returning to fitness. I think Gibbs got crocked at a very stupid timing. Traore is fit and ready and probably hungry to take that left back spot and I think the boss will go with him ahead of Silvestre. Hopefully, I'd say. All that is associated with Silvestre is his experience.
After that, it'll be interesting to see who takes the left back position against Liege since Gibbsy is earmarked to be ready for that game.
Denilson is back too, so is Vela. Timely for the both of them. I'm hungry to see Vela play in our 4-3-3.
That's about all, besides giving Eduardo the time to sign a new contract. He's one of those players who are extremely settled over here.
The true tests of the season starts tomorrow. It'll be playing every 3 days soon enough and still grinding out important results.
Liverpool play Man City. hahaha. srsly. I think I can put my money on a draw.
Lastly, the charity video for the Great Ormond Street Hospital is the love. Cesc as a bunny couldn't be more apt. And Arsharkvin. Sagna is cute too. And Theo as a lion hitting on a girl? Awesome.
