There's goes the season.
If we were to go into individual performances, it would look like this:

Almunia: prefers punching the ball when catching it is the better option 99.9% of the time
Sagna: got owned by Bale
Vermaelen: not on the pitch long enough to influence things
Campbell: STAR PERFORMER. Should have had 2 goals.
Clichy: totally gave up
Denilson: defensive side of his game improving, forward passes same old story
Diaby: for someone as skillful as he is, poor touches all around
Nasri: definitely not a replacement for Cesc. No spark, no penetration.
Rosicky: a lot of misplaced passes
Eboue: poor
Bendtner: also poor
Walcott: should have started ahead of eboue, whipped in that perfect cross for Bendtner to make his only contribution so as to not look as pathetic
Silvestre: needs to leave. Campbell at 35 is miles better than he is.

This is an all-rounded shit performance. So often this season, we've been the team that has been beating the odds. Then Barcelona came and bossed us around, because they're good. This time, we let Sp*rs, look good.

It was the same old story really, with Barcelona. You would have thought that playing against the best team in the world, it's ok to look bad. The team looked equally bad this time and their keeper was made to look top class, in contrast to our clown.

To Almunia's credit, he did do well on most occasions, save for the goals he conceded. The second was no fault of his, but the first definitely was. Continental keepers like to punch instead of catch huh? At least punch it out of play or get more distance with it. Isn't the easier solution catching the ball? His brilliant punch made way for that goal. Nice assist la.

Every game, he does well, except when he concedes. There is simply no chance of him having a good game.

Having a one week break was supposed to be helpful, but we looked so fucking lethargic and hung over.

There is no spark in this side without their captain. No spark without Arshavin. No spark without Van Persie. The latter, proven, when he came on, he changed the game. His shot on goal galvanised the side and we pressed on and pulled one back but it wasn't enough. We coped with the loss of Van Persie all throughout the season, we had Cesc who literally carried the team on his shoulders. Now that he is out, his beloved team simply crumbles.

The season is really over after this defeat. The team knew that anything less than a win would spell the end, and perhaps this weighed a tad too long on their minds. Like the game at Wolves, it really took incredible mental strength to come away with the win and perhaps it has all ran out. Sp*rs wanted it so much more than we did.

I think this is karma for laughing at their Pompey loss. And I think this game is fixed, because Arsenal were the big fat favourites to take this one after Sunday's events.

So, who took all the money at the expense of pride?
