A massive game draws near yet again
It's been a helluva long time since I posted. I blame my computer. I considered typing an entire post on my phone but decided against it. For all of the Hero's perks, the touch keyboard just ain't up to it. Besides, the Android auto correct is enough to drive me nuts, yet without it, slight typos make for a lot of back-spacing. Scratch that. Typing on my Hero totally means tons of back-spacing.

We face Sp*rs tomorrow morning. Or night. Whichever way you have it. It's a big game, as with all North London Derbies, except that this one would spell the end of the season for the club that doesn't get 3 points. If Arsenal wins, we're on course to overtake United for 2nd spot, and could still claim the title if Chelsea manage to fuck up and drop at least 4 points. And then we'll declare St. Totteringham's Day and drink till we all forget our names.

If Sp*rs lose, then they effectively take themselves out of the reckoning for 4th spot, leaving City sitting there comfortably. The brother wants Sp*rs to claim that 4th over City, but if I had to choose between those 2 cunts then City it is. Same reason, same rationale behind our choices. Liverpool aren't even close to smelling 4th so Rafa can eat his words, along the lines of "I guarantee 4th spot".

The last weekend was nothing short of magnificent. It was a matchday with plenty of goalless draws in the league, and in a game that mattered. United were held 0-0 at Ewood park. We are due to travel there too, but I'll save this for when it's about to happen. We gotta cover that hilarious FA Cup semi final between Sp*rs and Pompey.

Portsmouth prepared for the game with their official relegation from the league. They've been poor when the season started, but kept it together and against all odds, reached the semis. Sp*rs on the other hand, must have thought that it was their's to lose, and probably thought that their name was already engraved on the cup. It was not to be, and I was choosing between watching the league game between Hull and Burnley and that semi-final game. I thought the spuds would entertain me better and it proved the right choice.

All I wanted really, was it to be level on 90 minutes so that there was extra time. And by George, it happened. Initially I hoped it remained level with the game going to penalties so that David James in Pink could be the hero but the result I didn't wish for, was 7843095745873045870 times better. A Dawson slip and then the deadlock was broken, and Pompey never looked back, with the help of the ref of course. If you asked me, this is all karma. I've always thought Arry to be responsible for Pompey's current plight. When he went to Sp*rs, he brought over their best players at a cut price. The way he spent before was nothing short of disgraceful as well, so I guess this is his just desserts.

Ahead of the big clash, we have some very positive news. Robin Van Persie makes his return from injury, but with B52 in good scoring form, he should be on the bench. No news about Song though, so I hope he'll be in there, otherwise, Diaby could drop deeper while Rosicky and Nasri take care of things as the other 2 in the midfield 3. Both teams play each other on the back of cup exits, but I think the extra time we've had to get over ours could prove crucial. Besides, we were beaten by the best team in the world. Nothing to be ashamed of, nothing hilarious either. With our current injury ravaged squad, it really isn't too bad to get all the help we need, especially the favour Pompey provided.

Thank you Avram Grant. I have a new found respect for you. That win over Sp*rs, really has got to be credited to his ingenuity.

I am so excited to see RVP in Arsenal colours again.
