The Gods Sabotaged the French
WHAT THE FUCKKKKKKKK.

The above is in response to the Champion's League quarter final and semi final draw.

Q1 Lyon vs Bordeaux
Q2 Bayern vs Man Utd
Q3 Arsenal vs Barcelona
Q4 Inter vs CSKA Moscow

winner of Q1 plays winner of Q2 and Q3 play Q4 in the semi finals, i.e. we're at the tougher part of the draw.

The draw is made. The fixtures are laid. Game on.

I blame Messi really. He had to come out to talk about Arsenal. And then Thierry Henry. Thierry had to say that he would totally have an emo break if he had to play Arsenal.

For me, it has been a long time coming. Somehow, we all knew that we'll face Thierry someday and with his contract at Camp Nou expiring in the summer, this was probably the last chance for the footballing Gods to arrange this match up. Also, probably the ONLY chance for an all French quarter final. Didn't they know that Arsenal is French too? It could have been all French is some other way.

On the plus side, Arsenal vs Barcelona will be the biggest highlight of the draw. Two teams that zip the ball so well on their day, against each other, competing who can zip the ball better and put it in the back of the net. Both play possession football so it'll be interesting how the posession statistic is balanced.

Cue more Cesc to Barca stories but I'm sure he'll be licking his lips with regard to this draw.

Alrighty. Not a welcomed distraction from the league. West Ham tomorrow. We need business as usual amidst all the hype that will be building leading up to Barcelona.
