Hijack me, Arsenal
I caught a movie today on my day out.

Taking Pelham 123

In this time and age, we've seem too many movies consisting solely on hijacking. I mean, we had Air Force 1, then we had Speed 2 (no Keanu bahahaa) and basically anything to do with hostage taking can easily be a hijacking on whatever vehicle they're on.

The plot is well thought out, but it's not intense enough to keep you on the edge of your seat, the way Angels and Demons did. For both shows, they were running on a ticking clock but somehow you would have felt it more on A&D even if Taking Pelham 123 had someone dying every minute instead of every hour.

So then you'll be figuring out if I enjoyed the movie at all and I did, because of the two leads who will make any movie work - John Travolta as the baddie and Denzel Washington as the goodie of course. It can never be the reverse.

A rare mini movie review for ya!

In other news, Aaron Carter posted his number on Twitter and it's real. Not that I tested it. I only want candy.

In more other news, Thailand's H1N1 cases has twenty-folded since it's first declaration of the virus. I couldn't laugh more, even though I'm due to go there like next month. Just fuck it really. I'd do better to go there nearer to school reopening so that I can be responsible and isolate myself for 7 days and 7 nights the same way my friend's boyfriend, the HERO of newpaper (shittiest tabloid everrrrrrrrr epic fail X 793486378648967896757644) did.

He will be most commonly known by us as the boyfriend who isolated himself.

And even if I were to be sent to CDC or whatever, I've been preparing my computer for it all. Sims 3, Football Manager, Fallout 3, PES. That'll be enough to occupy me and keep me from boredom till the next millennium.

No actually. I need football. Live football. Live Arsenal football. The U21 Euros in Sweden has proven to be ultra bad substitutes. I want Gibbs and Walcott to triumph but I hate Stuart Pearce.

What conflicting feelings I have.

So apparently my dear country Singapore is expected to move away from the process of contact tracing and quarantining people since it's stretching our resources, not because it's completely stupid. They're treating all this H1N1 shit like SARS when it isn't that bad. Take the cue from your greatest ally on mother earth - US doctors just tell their patients to wear a mask and get well soon.

And so not torture people to the point of insanity by keeping them in isolation. If only the movie Moon was to be released in Singapore. Everyone should love Sam Rockwell.

The flu is coming, whether we like it or not. An imposed hospital stay should not be $400 per day just for the flu with no decent television and internet, as TTSH claims.

That's about all the dirt the Singapore media wants since they have nothing else to report on, after rape, theft and assault, rape being the hot hot hot hot favourite where the victim is left scarred for life.

Until Jet Li became a Singapore citizen.

Bwahaha.

srsly. We're the new Monaco of Asia I see. Is China's taxation that bad?

So. I don't suppose this is a football blog anymore. Heh.

Ah. Draft fixtures here.

Arsenal.com has already given the lo-down on it so I don't think I need to analyse or over-analyse because it is what it is.

We play at St Andrews only in March 27 next year so hopefully dudu will be flying already and can go there and no one gets all emo about it while we continue hating Martin Taylor yes.

Lastly, no one is going to forget Newcastle United. I think their progress in the Championship will be highly scrutinised with no good reason. That's a lot of unnecessary pressure really. Anyhow, it's going to be a premier league clash in the championship when they face West Brom on the opening day.

I can only laugh.
