Life’s too short to stay sober

All these late nights are terrible. It's gives me the kind of headache which feels like a dark cloud hanging over.

Not long before I was trying to adjust out of this London time syndrome and it worked. I slept by 2am and got up early. And now thanks to European Football coming back it's torture.

So I was thinking about Adebayor and his wonder goal. Before he came back, Nicky was 1 goal behind him in their seasonal goal tally. Now Adebayor knocks in 3 in 2 games and he's 4 goals ahead, and leading top scorer at the club.

What a turnaround. And now we all know the importance of competition for places in the squad.

Injuries wise, we don't know how long Robin and Eduardo will be out. They could be back for the weekend and/or the second leg and that'll be good. Looking at the bench last night there weren't too many attacking options - just Eboue, Vela and Bendtner. If you had Robin and dudu there at your disposal it would be way different, not discounting the quality of the 3 of them.

There is a kindergarden right below my flat with a playground. All afternoon I have to endure kids screaming. That's torture especially when they scream in unison. All the bawling and yelping really plays into your head when you're having a headache. RAWR.

Now if Diaby makes a miracle recovery, where will he slot in?
