I never liked Math but I have to get at least a dayful of it before the game. Early kick off at 8.30pm, what a rarity. So I'll just be back home in time for the game.
I'm not a big fan of preview posts. I just like to speak my mind. Preview posts often end with Go Gunners! Or things like that. Too much of it is boring sometimes. I personally like Arsenal FTW.
That's just me.
Saturday match day was without Arsenal. I let the TV play while I was burying my head and soul in Math. What a headache that caused. Neckache too. My TV is behind me while I am at my table. Everytime I hear the commentator exclaim anything I turn. Okay, neckache occurred during the Man Utd-Sp*rs game. 7 goals. Chelsea didn't manage to torture my neck with their uber boring football.
So yes, Sp*rs. Lol. Seriously. 2-0 and they lasted till half time and boo-ya! They thought they were going to win. Classic Sp*rs. They almost did a repeat of whichever year United won at White Hart Lane. It is funny. I guess poor Harry has Sp*rs running through his veins afterall. He did a Glen Hoddle, just failed to score 3. Anyway, Howard Webb again, responsible for a big decision which probably changed the game. I think Rafa Benitez has already set up an imaculate dart board with Webb's face on it.
Woodgate trying to clear Rooney's shot off the line after it had crossed was funny.
So Pool for all their troubles against Hull are still behind United. Now the concern would be United's next game, which is against us. And it sucks to not be able to make more concrete analysis since it is not the next game for us. It's boro, whom I think would cause us all sorts of trouble. They're fighting for their lives so it'll be interesting to see whose resolve is stronger. In any case it'll be a good match, but I do wish there is a chance to rest a few of our players ahead of the bigger game in midweek. Villa drew with Bolton so perhaps that frees up a little more breathing space and less pressure. Everton lost. What is most of concern is building momentum to take to the game at Old Trafford and we all hope Wenger get's his formula right.
I'll put $958374593705937058935907348957345 on Denilson starting. If I had that much money.
It's Valencia vs Barcelona now. I love the slashy pair of the 2 davids. Silva and Villa. This probably is an exciting game, but seriously, I don't see the great draw of playing in Spain. Fair enough there'll be barcelona dreamers, but the Spanish league is none like the English. Barcelona can play their free attacking football because that is in Spain. They're going to face Chelsea who plays more defensive than anything so it'll be interesting to see how Messi and co. try and unlock the Chelsea defence. I believe lesser opponents make the winners stand out a lot more and that's how it is with Barca. Real Madrid is the other Spanish team who stands out in terms of achievement but this season they're shit really. Pepe their defender applying for vacation via a 10 match ban for violent behaviour sums is not the smartest out there. The season is ending and Barca is just 2 wins away from the La Liga. The championship is not settled in England yet. And there's Sp*rs and Liverpool who think a 2 goal lead and a 1 goal lead respectively settles the game.
I guess the bird team really do have bird brains.
For the birds!
